Dovey, God does HAVE a family, of which the true ones, who receive the Holy Ghost, are his children.......BUT......God, himself is not the 'family'. If you say God IS a family, then you are saying that every member of the family is God.
God is a KINGDOM. That KINGDOM is made up of many, many, (inumerable) members.
No, Just because Jesus is God's son, does not make Jesus be God. The SON kingdom is HUMAN.
The God kingdom is Spirit.
Jesus is of the HUMAN KINGDOM.
He was GIVEN a place in the God kingdom, after his resurrection.

If God did not say it, men had better not say it. God COMMANDED us not to add to his word.

Each one of God's commandments is just as important as any other, for it is all the Word of the Same God.
You cannot pick and choose which of God's commandments you will decide to believe and obey. for if you do, you are thus DISOBEYING GOD, AND DISBELIEVING GOD.
One of his commandments does not make up all there is to God.
