There were two trees in the midst of the Garden of Eden. One was the ‘tree�?of the knowledge of good and evil. The other was the ‘tree�?of life. Adam was told that if he ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, he would die. So, the big question is WHAT WERE THESE TWO TREES?

Today, I will teach on the tree of Life. The Word of God is FULL of this. You could just go on and on with it. And, you will see, that the other tree is just the opposite. I will teach on it later.

Since Genesis does not go into the tree of life, I will start with the account of the other tree.

Gen.3:5,6----- Satan tells Eve that God knows if she eats of this tree her eyes will be opened, and ye shall be as gods, KNOWING good and evil.

v6---And when the woman saw that the tree was good for FOOD, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one WISE, she and her husband ate.

Now, it shows that the ‘fruit�?of this tree would give them some kind of KNOWLEDGE; it would make them ‘wise�? So, it had to be something to go into the MIND; in other words, it was WORDS.

Pro. 3:13-18---This tells us that to find WISDOM gives understanding and length of days.

v18---She is a ‘tree of life�?to them that lay hold upon her.

So, this shows that gaining understanding is the tree of life. So it has to be something for the mind.

Pro. 11:30---The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life...

Pro.12:14---A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth;.... (words).

Pro.13:2,3--A man shall EAT good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall EAT violence.

v3---He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life:...

Pro. 13:13,14---Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

v14--The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.

Now follow that all of this lays the foundation that WORDS determine this matter.

Pro. 15:4---A wholesome tongue is a ‘tree of life�? but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.

v7---The lips of the wise disperse knowledge:..

The ‘wholesome�?tongue is one speaking the truth of the Word; the perverseness is the Word perverted; as you will see.

Psm. 119:103---How sweet are thy WORDS unto my TASTE! Yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! (words sweet to the mouth?)

v105--Thy WORD is a lamp unto my feet, and a LIGHT unto my path. (now we have added another ‘meaning�?of the fruit of this tree of life = LIGHT).

v130---The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple. (so this says the Word entering our mind gives LIGHT AND UNDERSTANDING).

Jer. 15:16----Thy WORDS were found, and I did EAT them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.

(this shows that one can EAT WORDS; so this has to be going into the MIND).

Eze,3: 1-3---Moreover He said unto me, Son of man, EAT that thou findest; eat this ROLL, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

v2---So I opened my MOUTH, and he caused me to EAT that ROLL.

V3--And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I EAT it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

Again, saying the WORD was EATEN and it was sweet as honey.

One more: Rev. 10:9---And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and EAT it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

v10---And I took the little BOOK out of the angel’s hand, and ATE it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey; AND AS SOON AS i HAD EATEN IT, MY BELLY WAS BITTER.

Again, someone eating a book; roll; words. So this eating has to be taking something into the mind. It is precious when we receive it; but then it brings on persecution.

John 5:24--Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from DEATH unto LIFE.

This clearly says that getting these WORDS passes us from DEATH TO LIFE.

If you EAT the tree of knowledge of good and evil, you shall DIE (DEATH).

So this is taking into your mind perverted WORDS.

Jer. 23:36--....for ye have perverted the WORDS of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.

v39--- Therefore I will forget you, will forsake you, and cast you out of my presence; (exactly what happened to Adam and Eve- cast out of His presence). For they had perverted his Words.

John 4: 10-14---Jesus told the woman at the well that he would give her WATER to DRINK and she would never thirst again; but it shall be in you a well of water springing up into everlasting life.

So, to DRINK this WATER gives everlasting life. So this WATER is the Tree of Life; His words.

John 7:37, 38---....Jesus said, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and DRINK. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

v39---But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.

So, here he shows that DRINKING this Water is receiving the Holy Ghost. If we come to him and drink (his words) , then those words will flow out of us (so this shows that the BELLY he keeps speaking of is not our bodily belly; but the spirit). All of this is spiritual. To think of it in the natural, you will never see the truth.

John 6:63---It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the WORDS that I speak unto you, they are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE.

Quicken means to make alive; so here is proof that the WORDS are the Spirit and they are the LIFE. So His words, unchanged, (perverted) is the Tree of Life.

John 6: v27---Labour not for the MEAT which perisheth, but for that MEAT which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto: for him hath God the Father sealed.

Now, we have added another symbol for that tree of life = MEAT. We EAT this MEAT and it gives us eternal life. So again, this has to be eating for the mind.

v33---For the BREAD of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth LIFE unto the world.

v35--Jesus said, I am the bread of life; he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

Now, there is another symbol for the fruit of that tree; BREAD. Again, food, but food for the mind or spirit.

v48--I am that BREAD of life.

v51--..if any man EAT of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

v52---The Jews strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?

This is what you are doing. How can Jesus give us his FLESH TO EAT? That you must come to grips with this, if you desire eternal life.

v54--Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

v55---For my flesh is MEAT indeed, and my blood is DRINK indeed.

v56---He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

v58---...he that eateth of this BREAD shall live for ever.

v63---It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: (here he speaks of his human body; that it profiteth nothing)--the WORDS that I SPEAK unto you, THEY are SPIRIT, and they are LIFE.

Now, there you have the symbols for the fruit of the Tree of Life: Light, water, meat, bread, blood, drink, roll, book, but it all is the WORD of God, unperverted or changed.

The Word was the Flesh; the flesh was the Word. The Word became Flesh = words brought and taught by Jesus; not his human body. This Word is what was God; This Word is what came here for us to EAT to have everlasting life.

You people trying to say God was Jesus, because he was flesh, you had better come to see this. Or you had better find out what the Jews wanted to know---How is this man going to give us his flesh to eat? and drink his Blood? How are you going to do it, you that think it refers to his natural body?

Remember, Jeremiah ate words; Eze. ate a roll; John ate a book; we are to eat flesh, and drink water, blood, Can you figure how they did this?

They were eating the fruit of the Tree of Life --- Jesus�?Words, which are the Father’s Words. Jesus gave us the Father’s Words. His words are life eternal.

John 12:49---For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

So Jesus did not speak his own thoughts; he spoke His Father’s Words; so how was he God?

v50---And I know that his commandment is life everlasting; whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

This proves these Words were the Fathers�? and that they were the fruit of the Tree of Life; for he said His commandment is life everlasting. So all that Jesus spoke, was what the Father told him to speak. So you need to remember that it is the Father speaking in Jesus; that is what makes it look like he says at time that he is God; it is not him speaking, it is the Father speaking in him.

In Luke 6:43,44--we are told that a corrupt tree bears corrupt fruit. But a good tree bears good fruit; this is those who speak the word without changing it. The corrupt fruit is changed, altered word. It is death; it is the other tree.

Lk. 8:11--Jesus said the seed is the Word of God. (ever seed bears of it’s own kind). So this is the result of speaking the truth; it beings forth life to the hearer.

Acts 13:5---they preached the word.

1Pet. 1:23---we are born of the Word = the seed.

11Cor.2:17---the old law is death- that was the ministration of death; so this is the tree of the knowledge of good and evil for it brings forth death.

Rom.7---man was alive once without the law; but the law entered, sin revived, and we died. So that was death.

I know this is long. But it is worth taking the time to study it. Take it a bit at a time and search the Scriptures and study this if you desire life and truth; the truth is life.

Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ; the law came by Moses; the law is death. Grace is life.

John 6:66-69---Form that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.

v67--Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?

v68---Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

v69--And we believe and are SURE that thou art that Christ, the SON OF THE LIVING GOD.

Once again, Peter is declaring that his belief is that Jesus is the Son of God. I never find where he said I believe you are God. I never find where he said I believe you are the Second person in the Godhead. Remember, Jesus said this declaration is the true foundation of the Church.

But look at what Peter said is the fruit of the tree of life----Thou (Jesus) hast the WORDS OF ETERNAL LIFE. So the correct words, the correct teaching is the tree of life.

People, this is too serious for you to just cling to something just because it has ’always�?been taught. Because, as you can see, it has not always been taught. The apostles nor Jesus taught those lies. They said Jesus is the Son of God. He gave us the Father’s words; and these words are the tree of life.

Jo
