Hello,
I am looking for a Red or chocolate male to breed my black and tan female (Kira) to.  I live in Alberta and I would prefer to find one that is close to home.  I will want to meet the male in person as well as investigate the bloodlines before making any desicions.  Kira is AKC and CKC registered and I want a male that is either one or the other.  If you know of someone please let me know.
Thanks
Nicole

When you find a possible sire can you also try to find out if there has been bone breakage in his line.  The trouble is though that most stud owners aren't likely to let you know that.  I guess you'd have to find some of the names & addresses of people that have used him & ask them about the pups.
Hearing about all these broken limbs is so very sad so if we're more careful about the genes we carry on- maybe that will be one cause we can rule out.
I investigated fully before I bred my last Yorkie & she has strong pettalas (sp?) compared to the ones before her that I used a different stud for.  As far as nutrition importance it's prime also but in my case I knew they had a good nutritious base thats why I turned to examining genetic inheritance for that problem.

Kira is AKC and CKC

CKC as in Continental Club?
And to invesigate the pedigrees?  By your own pedigree you should already know pretty much what your looking for.
Would love to see what your breeding, any predigrees on you dogs?

U may have already talked about the CKC thing, and I missed it, so is it Continental or Canadian?
