DOGS GONE HOLLYWOOD:

A  Miniature Pinscher Tale

FEATURING  MAMIE  VAN DOREN AND FAMILY
~ STARRING STARLET AND RAINBOW ~

How the story begins:

Cato Min Pins' member, Alice Nolan of Nizhoni Min Pins. Arizona,
USA,  was pleasantly surprised, one day in May 2003, when she
realized who the man was on the other end of the phone.  The
man named Thomas, calling to inquire about purchasing a Miniature
Pinscher puppy, was none other than the husband of Hollywood
legend and film star, Mamie Van Doren.   He said that Mamie was
considering a Miniature Pinscher as her choice of breed for canine
companionship.   After their phone conversation had ended, Alice
emailed  photos to them of the Miniature Pinsher puppies that she
currently had available.  One of them, Mamie wanted to see, in
particular, the chocolate-colored puppy with tan markings.

 Mamie Van Doren chooses
a Miniature Pinscher pup:

As soon as she set eyes on the picture of the adorable chocolate
Miniature Pinscher puppy, Mamie knew that this was the one for
her!  She contacted Alice right away, to arrange for the puppy to
be her future canine companion.  Alice agreed to deliver the lucky
little puppy to Mamie's California home personally, by car, just as
soon as the puppy was entirely weaned and old enough to travel.

It wasn't long before Alice set out on her adventure to meet Mamie
Van Doren and introduce her to the sweet Min Pin pup who would be-
come part of her family.  She left Arizona, driving by car, and arrived
at Mamie's home in Newport Beach, California two days later.

When the two finally meet,  Mamie Van Doren and the pup that she
later christians "Starlet",  it is apparent for all to see: this is a match
made in heaven.  Why, they are made for each other!  Perhaps it is
that  sass, spunk, and energy that Miniature Pinschers are known for,
that Mamie finds so attractive.  One can't help but note these same fine
qualities in Mamie, herself.  No doubt, this is what Starlet finds endearing!

Mamie had this to say on her website homepage:

"Everyone say hello to Starlett, our new baby
Miniature Pinscher. Thanks to Alice Nolan of
Nizhoni Min Pins in Humboldt, Arizona for the
picture and the new baby!  Alice knows Min Pins!"

"Starlet on her best behavior because she wants
to go to lunch.   We take Starlet to lunch at a
couple of restaurants where the proprietors are
understanding.

But elegant Troquet is not the place even for a
well-behaved young lady like Starlet.  She makes
one last plea, but, sadly, she stays home with
the birds."
