Hi,
I am looking for a white or white & creme minpins. I would be willing to trade one of my show quality puppies( red, black&tan or chocolate) for one. My show lines include Valdon, only one, lorimar, Chateu Acres, and madric, smallroc. Several of my puppies are sired by my Group winner Ch. Lorimar Austintaious. |

I am referring to the color that the owner of this web site has described on her minpins in color page. A cream with white markings. As for looking for a puppy on this this page. It is The Breeders page. If people are not supposed to ask other breeders about colors or puppies then why call a breeder page. You should not make harsh statements about other people or want they are looking for. I have been in Minpins for 14 years. I have produce several champions and solid show puppies. I have petted out better minpins than most people show. |

Many call dilute reds "cream", many call them "tans". But there is no "AKC" cream minpin. And surely not with white markings. Gosh, NO minpin should have white markings. And the whites people talk about turn a red tint as they get older, find one as a pup, keep tabs and watch it grow. MANY dilute reds appear white at birth but you will see the reddish tones come in with age. I do have pics of white pup and again as adult. Hard to believe its same dog. |

the following text was copied of of this web sites page miniature pinscher incolor Historic Colors Formerly, the MPCA also recognized harlequin (black and white flecked dapple or tri-white with black and blue patches) as a standard breed color. Harlequin and yellow were removed from the breed standard at the same time as the blues. Brindle (dark streaks or flecks on a gray or tawny ground) coated Min Pins have also been seen, as well as solid black , solid chocolate, or solid red with a chocolate nose. They also came in a color combination known as merle (blue with black patches, like a Dachsund or Great Dane). White Miniature Pinschers, though rare, have appeared in litters, though there has been some controversy among breeders, concerning whether they are a true color of white, or just a very diluted version of red. A truly white Miniature Pinscher would be an albino, complete with red eyes. While a "white" Miniature Pinscher, assimilar to what is often termed as "white" in the Doberman Pinscher, is actually cremello with white markings. (Cream and White Doberman Pinschers, called white, have a masking gene. The masking gene covers up the markings that the Doberman would have been with out the masking gene. This makes them appear Cream with White points, and they have blue eyes). |
