Hello everyone my real name is Melissa.I'm owned by a month and Half old Choclate and Rust Miniature Pincher named Coco Fudge Beware.We call him Coco.He is a sweet beautiful boy.He loves to be under the cover and hates his sweat shirt.Coco is our frist Miniature Pincher and won't be our last.I would like to have one more to go with Coco.I'm not into breeding or showing just a family pet.I found that out of all the breeds I have loved growing up that The King Of Toys is one of the best with kids.I have a three year old son who loves to cuddle and love on our animals and Coco never seems to mind him cuddling under the covers with him and watching T.V. or taking a nap.Coco always seems ready for anything we want to do until it goes to raining and then he is ready to stay home cuddle under a blanket.He has only one real problem and it seems to be the rain he don't like it at all and will refuse to go out to potty.He don't like the cold but will go out if he can get back in quick.If anyone can give me any advice on the bare spots to try I would apperciate the advice greatly.
I have the same problem with 2 of my min pins. They will go to the doggie door, and stick their head out, like they are checking the weather. If it is raining they will not go out. However, if I go outside they will go. As far as him cuddling under a blanket when it is raining or cold, I wish I could stay home on those days and do that!!!
My first min-pin was a chocolte named Cocoa, too. Only she was a girl! She,too, hated to go out in the rain. I bought her a cute yellow rain slicker with pictures of ducks under an umbrella! She hated it and refused to walk an inch when she was wearing it! She did however love her sweaters.
