I have a 4 year old male Min Pin named Harley that was a gift to me for Xmas of 04 and I couldn't have asked for a better gift. He is very well mannered and has never been vicious to anyone. I took him to the vet about a month ago and they said there were blood and crystals in his urine. They have treated him with 3 types of antibiotics now and it still hasn't cleared up. I don't understand how he could have gotten something like this because he drinks plenty of water and I always make sure that his water is fresh. Any suggestions of what to do? |

check and see if he has bladder stones ~ you may have to change his diet because of the crystals check his kidneys |

Many times the symptoms you mention and the stone formation are as a result of diet and you should discuss this with your Veterinarian. It could be once this episode is over and you have changed his diet he will be fine after that. |
