Hi Everyone - I guess I will officially introduce myself. I am Rusty's Mom (officially to be named Prancealots Rustic Wind) I was evidently meant to find Rusty when I did. We recently lost our almost 14 year old pup. Before Cocoa died my husband was quite sure 'we would not get another dog'. A day later it was "we won't get another dog till I know he will outlive me". When I came home a few more days, not only could he tell me what type of dog - BUT also what color! I was NOT going to let him change his mind! I was online searching and doing more homework (ok - maybe I had given sublimal hints before of a couple of breeds!) beforeI sat down to eat. Before he went to bed that night I had found our breeder & and our pup!
I could hardly sleep that night and was checking to verify my "find" early in the AM !! I woke DH when I got my email from Robyn and had him come "choose & approve" before anything could happen. OK ... any longer story wil be a "Gone With the Wind" novel -so yes... we pick up Rusty and then fly home on Aug 13!! He is the newest light of my life -(yes Ron - you are my old Light of my Life - and the flame stills burns bright) and I can't wait to gethim home from the best Mom/Breeder around!!
