Virus Help

Folks I cannot stress enough the importance of virus protection
for your computers. There are so many out there that it boggles
the mind! I am always a little shocked to find out that so many
of you good people have NO virus protection at all! If you are going
to spend hundreds of dollars for a computer please protect yourself
from these sick people that write these viruses just to amuse
themselves by harming others. DON'T let them get you!

I know from my email that many of you have a virus and
are totally unaware of it. I urge all of you to do a
full scan today!!

How do I know if I have a virus?

If you have a virus program first update it and then
do a full virus scan of your computer.

If you do not have a virus program you can do a scan

AVG Anti-Virus

I use Norton and am totally happy with it.

To me some of the worst viruses out there are the
ones that steal email names. You think you have an email
from a friend but the name has been stolen and when
you download the file you are infected! That is the most
important reason I can think of for having virus protection!
But you must keep it updated for it to be effective!

send out email with Attachments to download!
If you should receive an email from [email protected]
or [email protected]
that has an DOWNLOAD attachment, Delete It!!
It is NOT from me and it's probably a virus

Inserting Hyper Link

To insert a link to a gif/pic/word

On the page or message thread that you want to create a link from, right-click, then choose properties. Where it says URL, highlight all from HTTP:/ / but not http:/ / itself. Scroll down as far as the URL goes, then right-click and copy.

Go to the page or message reply where you wish to place the link.

Click on the gif or pic. You will see white dots (sizing handles) appear on the edges.

Or highlight {Highlight the words Click here, by clicking your mouse next to the last letter, which is e and dragging your mouse across the words until you get to the C} the word to be used as a link. eg click here

Click the icon above that when you hover the mouse over, it says 'Insert Link' (looks like a ball and handcuffs)

In the box that appears, you will see HTTP:/ /

In the empty space bar next to it, click inside.

Hit Ctrl V on your keyboard, which will paste in the URL link
