Need extra sleep?

If mom wants to get a few extra hours' sleep, use the same perfume freey while at the hospital and when you get home. Later dab your perfume on baby's crib sheets or pillow. He/she will smell the mama smell and feel safe and content.

Making baby comfy.

Keep a heating pad or hot water bottle beside the baby's crib and when he/she is picked up for their night feeding, turn the pad on warm and place on the crib mattress. When you put the baby back down, his/her bed will be nice and warm and they will settle down more quickly. Be sure to remove the heating pad.

Need a travelling bed for baby?

If you are traveling with a small baby and do not want to haul a crib, simply use a small, inflatable plastic pool and blow up. Cover with a sheet and secure the ends underneath. Baby is now comfortable and can't roll off.

Make your own baby food

Puree fresh vegetables, place in ice cube trays, and freeze for use at a later date. Give nice size portions depending on age of child. Prevents waste.

Calming the angry child

Whispering works wonders when a child is angre. Simply whisper gentle words into his ear. He will stop crying so he can hear what you're saying. And, 100% effective on husbands.
