What seek ye?

Do we seek Jesus or do we seek the self seeking aspects of life?

We are to first seek the counsel of the Lord 1 Kings 22:5

If you seek Him He will be found 1 Chr. 28:9

Pray and seek  2 Chr. 7:14

If you seek Him He will be found 2 Chr.15:2

Those who seek the Lord lack no good thing Ps.34:10

Those who seek the Lord rejoice Ps.105:3

Seek His face always Ps.105:4

Seek Him with all your heart Ps.119:2

Those who seek me find me Prov.8:17

Those who seek the Lord understand Prov.28:5

Seek the Lord while He may be found Is.55:6

It is time to seek the Lord Hos.10:12

Seek me and live Amos 5:4

Seek first His kingdom Matt. 6:33

Seek peace and pursue it 1 Peter 3:11

A seeking individual sets his heart on God with His plans being in accordance to divine wisdom and insight

Does the Lord find within us a seeking heart to truly know and understand all that is relevant for the tasks of the day

LET US BE DILIGENT NOT LAYING ASIDE THAT WHICH IS NEEDFUL

What were the characteristics revealed in Jesus?

What are the aspects of Christ's presence that needs to be relevant and revealed in our lives?

Does our faith include the relationship God has intended?

God is calling us all to encounter Him in yet a greater way

To know Him personally whereby the essence and fragrance of His presence would sustain and empower us in all aspects of life

That which we seek we ultimately give heed to

Jeremiah 13 reveals the need to be filled but we will be filled with that which we so listen and are responsive to.

Are we living up to our full potential?

Have we lost the evidence of Jesus being our 1st love?

IN CHRIST there is no condemnation and we have opportunity to live today and tomorrow in the Spirit, fulfilling God's will for us.

The Humble seek Him encountering His grace and the relationship with both the Lord and one another

Trust draws nigh to so encounter the reality thereof

COME TASTE and SEE THE LORD IS GOOD!

A seeking attitude involves searching or striving after.

DO WE SEEK AFTER GOD and SEEK GOD'S WORD?

Seeking includes repentance, humility, righteousness which is a right standing with God and proper judgment.

There is an intensity and depth if we truly seek the Lord and inquire after the truth that He reveals and unfolds.

You will seek me and you will find me, because you will
seek me with all your heart
Jeremiah 29:13

Seeking means to have an intense desire of obtaining that which the Lord reaches out to bestow with His love being evident whereby we walk humbly with God

Seeking the Lord involves a relationship thereby appropriating the reality of His love and care

The Lord reaches out to bring restoration spiritually, mentally, emotionally and in the natural with His care affecting our inner most being as we make the Lord our refuge.

Seeking includes the relationship which transpires
between God and His children.

WE ARE TO SEEK HIM
Isaiah 55:6
through PRAYER
Gen.25:22
and meditating on the truths of Scripture
1 Chr. 15:13 / Ps.1

God reaches forth seeking each one of us and desires we become aware of His faithfulness and concern on our behalf.

A seeking heart has an attitude of worship being reliant on the Lord Jesus Christ.

LET US SEEK GOD WITH A RIGHT SPIRIT
which includes our whole heart and soul
Deut. 4:29
The benefits of the Holy Spirit has ongoing aspects
affecting every aspect of our life

The principles of the Kingdom of God and the reality of divine righteousness, peace and wisdom are relevant as we so
abide in Christ with His Word resident and activated
in our heart and soul influencing every aspect of our life.

SEEKING GOD in PRAYER will so ENCOUNTER
that which is needful
Matt. 7:7-8

Would we truly seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness knowing that He will provide all that is necessary.

God reaches out to those who repent and respond in worship
absorbing and so appropriating His truth thereby
reflecting the reality of His love and presence.

WE ARE TO BE VESSELS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
revealing the
NATURE OF HIS PRESENCE

Jesus is the good shepherd and desires to restore
all who would so accept the love available
in connecting with Christ as
LORD and SAVIOR

May the will and purpose of God
be that which we truly seek after

A single eye for Jesus
thereby appropriating the full reality of
divine truth with the breath of the Holy Spirit
igniting every aspect of our being.

I hope it is okay to add this to this thread. I don't know if we are suppose to comment on threads that are teachings, but this one is close to my heart.

God taught me something last year about seeking him. We went to Central America to visit some pastors we meet here in the states. While we were there I was asked to speak to the women of one of the local churches...I was in a panic...I had never spoken in front of anyone before.  I had no idea what I was suppose to do or talk on.

My husband, who has been a Christian longer than I have, encouraged me to try. I spent the afternoon looking at one thing I had heard being taught to the next thing. During the course of my looking over ideas I found the following versus.

Psalms 27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple

Psalms 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

I was excited--in a way I had never felt before...I knew that I wanted to talk on these versus and what they meant to me...I told them that God showed me my desire as a Christian should be to seek his face...that it had to be a heart thing not a lip thing...I talked that day and I pulled all the versus he showed me after these two versus, but the meaning these words brought to me has changed my life, my walk, my desires, and my wantings in this life.
