The Gospel (#1) Presented by Jesus

(Mat 4:17 KJV)
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,
Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

(John 12:26 KJV)
If any man serve me, let him follow me;
and where I am, there shall also my servant be:
if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

THE ESSENTIALS OF JESUS' PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL
1) REPENT (TURN AWAY FROM SIN AND WICKED BEHAVIOR)
2) FOLLOW ME (JESUS)
3) COUNT THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP
4) BECOME A DISCIPLE OF JESUS
5) BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST (ENTRUST YOUR SPIRITUAL WELL BEING TO HIM)

REPENT (TURN AWAY FROM SIN AND WICKEDNESS)

ATTITUDES OF REPENTANCE
(1 Ki 8:47-49 KJV)
Yet if they shall bethink(Heb=return in their thoughts) themselves in the
land whither they were carried captives,
and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried
them captives, saying,
We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;
{48} And so return unto thee with all their heart, and with all their soul,
in the land of their enemies, which led them away captive,
and pray unto thee toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers,
the city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy
name:
{49} Then hear thou their prayer and their supplication in heaven thy
dwelling place,
and maintain their cause,

(Job 42:5-6 KJV)
I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth
thee.
{6} Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

(Jer 8:6a KJV)
I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright:
no man repented him of his wickedness,
saying, What have I done?

(Jer 26:13 KJV)
  Therefore now amend your ways and your doings,
and obey the voice of the LORD your God;
and the LORD will repent him of [the evil that he hath pronounced against
you. [see Ezek 18:4b]*

(Ezek 18:4 KJV)
Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of
the son is mine:
*[the soul that sinneth, it shall die.]

(Jer 31:18-19 KJV)
  I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus;
Thou hast chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to
the yoke:
turn thou me, and I shall be turned; for thou art the LORD my God.
{19} Surely after that I was turned, I repented;
and after that I was instructed, I SMOTE UPOIN MY THIGH
{Heb=as an expression of grief, indignation or punishment):
I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my
youth.

(Ezek 14:6 KJV)
Therefore say unto the house of Israel,
Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols;
and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

(Ezek 18:30-32 KJV)
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his
ways, saith the Lord GOD.
Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall
not be your ruin.
{31} Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have
transgressed;
and make you a new heart and a new spirit:
for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
{32} For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord
GOD:
  wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

(Joel 2:12-13 KJV)
Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart,
and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
{13} And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD
your God:
for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repenteth him of the evil.

(Mat 3:1-2 KJV)
In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
{2} And saying,
Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

FRUITS[Grk=as if already plucked} SUITABLE FOR REPENTANCE

(Mat 3:8 KJV)
Bring forth therefore FRUITS* meet for repentance: *[see Gal 5:22-25 & Eph
5:6-12 ]

(Gal 5:22-25 KJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, {23} Meekness, temperance:
against such there is no law.
{24} And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections
and lusts.
{25} If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

(Eph 5:6-12 KJV)
Let no man deceive you with vain words:
for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of
disobedience.
{7} Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
{8} For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of light:
{9} (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and
truth;)
{10} Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
{11} And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,
but rather reprove them.
{12} For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them
in secret.

(Mat 4:17-19 KJV)
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,
Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
{18} And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon
called Peter, and Andrew his brother,
casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
{19} And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

(Mat 9:12-13 KJV)
But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them,
They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
{13} But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not
sacrifice:
for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

FOLLOW  ME (JESUS)

(Mat 4:18-20 KJV)
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren,
Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother,
casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
{19} And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
{20} And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

(Mat 8:21-22 KJV)
And another of his disciples said unto him, Lord, suffer me first to go and
bury my father.
{22} But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead.

(Mat 9:9 KJV)
And as Jesus passed forth from thence,
he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom:
and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.

(Mat 16:24-26 KJV)
Then said Jesus unto his disciples,
If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross,
and follow me.
{25} For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:
and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
{26} For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose
his own soul?
or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

(Mat 19:21 KJV)
Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast,
and give to the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

(Mark 2:14 KJV)
And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt
of custom,
and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

(Mark 8:34-37 KJV)
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said
unto them,
Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross,
and follow me.
{35} For whosoever will save his life shall lose it;
but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same
shall save it.
{36} For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and
lose his own soul?
{37} Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

(Mark 10:21-22 KJV)
Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him,
One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to
the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:
and come, take up the cross, and follow me.
{22} And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved:
for he had great possessions.

(Luke 5:27-28 KJV)
And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi,
sitting at the receipt of custom:
and he said unto him, Follow me.
{28} And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

(Luke 9:23-26 KJV)
And he said to them all,
If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross
daily, and follow me.
{24} For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:
but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
{25} For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose
himself, or be cast away?
{26} For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words,
of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own
glory,
and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

(Luke 9:59-62 KJV)
And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to
go and bury my father.
{60} Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead:
but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.
{61} And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee;
but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
{62} And Jesus said unto him,
No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the
kingdom of God.

(Luke 18:22 KJV)
Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him,
Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto the
poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:
and come, follow me.

(John 10:27-30 KJV)
  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
{28} And I give unto them eternal life;
and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my
hand.
{29} My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all;
and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
{30} I and my Father are one.

(John 12:26 KJV)
If any man serve me, let him follow me;
and where I am, there shall also my servant be:
if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

(John 21:19 KJV)
This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God.
And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

COUNT THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP

(Luke 14:28-30 KJV)
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and
counteth the cost,
whether he have sufficient to finish it?
{29} Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to
finish it,
all that behold it begin to mock him, {30} Saying,
This man began to build, and was not able to finish.

(Luke 14:33 KJV)
So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath,
he cannot be my disciple.

(Mat 8:20 KJV)
And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air
have nests;
but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.

(Mat 10:22 KJV)
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake:
but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

(1 Th 3:3-4 KJV)
That no man should be moved by these afflictions:
for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.
{4} For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should
suffer tribulation;
even as it came to pass, and ye know.

The Gospel (#2) Presented by Jesus
(Mat 4:17 KJV)
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say,
Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
(John 12:26 KJV)
If any man serve me, let him follow me;
and where I am, there shall also my servant be:
if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

THE ESSENTIALS OF JESUS' PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL
1) REPENT (TURN AWAY FROM SIN AND WICKED BEHAVIOR)
2) FOLLOW ME (JESUS)
3) COUNT THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP
4) BECOME A DISCIPLE OF JESUS
5) BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST (ENTRUST YOUR SPIRITUAL WELL BEING TO HIM)
6) OBEY MY WORDS (OF JESUS)

BECOME A DISCIPLE OF JESUS
(Acts 11:26c KJV)
                                         ... And the DISCIPLES were called
Christians first in Antioch.
DISCIPLE (noun)  A follower or student of a spiritual teacher.
TO DISCIPLE (verb) To assist and mentor new believers to mature in the
knowledge of the Lord through continual oversight of their life and through
edification, teaching the Word, and discipline. It is based on Christ’s
injunction to teach [new converts] "all things whatsoever I have commanded
you." The discipling approach is seen by its advocates as the quickest way
not only to multiply but also to develop disciples who will also be
soul-winners.
Early in his earthly ministry Jesus called certain men to be with him and to
follow him; he summoned twelve disciples to his side. Though we cannot
literally walk with him today, through his Spirit, we nonetheless have been
summoned by Him as well. We have been summoned to his side in order that we
might be with him, that we might really come to know him, and that we might
follow him along the path of discipleship. But the heart of the call of
Christ is to be with him and to know him intimately.
(Mat 10:24-28 KJV)
The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
{25} It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant
as his lord.
If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub,
how much more shall they call them of his household?
{26} Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not
be revealed;
and hid, that shall not be known.
{27} What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light:
and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
{28} And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the
soul:
but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
(Mat 10:42 KJV)
And whosoever shall give to drink unto one of these little ones
a cup of cold water only in the name of a disciple,
verily I say unto you, he shall in no wise lose his reward.
(Luke 6:40 KJV)
  The disciple is not above his master:
but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
(Luke 14:26-27 KJV)
If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and
children,
and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my
disciple.
{27} And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my
disciple.
(Luke 14:33 KJV)
So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath,
he cannot be my disciple.
(Luke 5:10-11 KJV)
And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners
with Simon.
And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.
{11} And when they had brought their ships to land,
they forsook all, and followed him.
(Luke 18:22-24 KJV)
Now when Jesus heard these things, he said unto him,
Yet lackest thou one thing: sell all that thou hast, and distribute unto
the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:
and come, follow me.
{23} And when he heard this, he was very sorrowful: for he was very rich.
{24} And when Jesus saw that he was very sorrowful, he said,
How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!
(Luke 18:28-30 KJV)
Then Peter said, Lo, we have left all, and followed thee.
{29} And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you,
There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or
children,
for the kingdom of God's sake,
{30} Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time,
and in the world to come life everlasting.
(Phil 3:7-10 KJV)
But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
{8} Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss
for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:
for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung,
that I may win Christ, {9} And be found in him,
not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law,
but that which is through the faith of Christ,
the righteousness which is of God by faith:
{10} That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection,
and the fellowship of his sufferings,
being made conformable unto his death;
(1 John 2:15-17 KJV)
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
{16} For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,
is not of the Father, but is of the world.
{17} And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof:
but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
(Mat 9:37-38 KJV)
Then saith he unto his disciples,
The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
{38} Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest,
that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
(Mat 16:24-26 KJV)
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me,
let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
{25} For whosoever will save his life shall lose it:
and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
{26} For what is a man profited,
if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
(Mat 19:23 KJV)
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you,
That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.
(Mat 21:6 KJV)
And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,
(Mat 28:9 KJV)
And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying,
All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
(Mark 4:33-34 KJV)
And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able
to hear it.
{34} But without a parable spake he not unto them:
and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
(Mark 6:1 KJV)
And he went out from thence, and came into his own country;
and his disciples follow him.
(Mark 8:34-38 KJV)
And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said
unto them,
Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross,
and follow me.
{35} For whosoever will save his life shall lose it;
but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same
shall save it.
{36} For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and
lose his own soul?
{37} Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
{38} Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words
in this adulterous and sinful generation;
of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed,
when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
(Mark 14:32 KJV)
And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane:
and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray.
(Luke 6:20-38 KJV)
And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said,
Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.
{21} Blessed are ye that hunger now: for ye shall be filled.
Blessed are ye that weep now: for ye shall laugh.
{22} Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you,
and when they shall separate you from their company,
and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of
man's sake.
{23} Rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is
great in heaven:
for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.
{24} But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation.
{25} Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger.
Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep.
{26} Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you!
for so did their fathers to the false prophets.
{27} But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which
hate you,
{28} Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use
you.
{29} And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other;
and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also.
{30} Give to every man that asketh of thee;
and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again.
{31} And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
{32} For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye?
for sinners also love those that love them.
{33} And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye?
for sinners also do even the same.
{34} And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye?
for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
{35} But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing
again;
and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the
Highest:
for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
{36} Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
{37} Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be
condemned:
forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
{38} Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure,
pressed down, a nd shaken together, and running over, shall men give into
your bosom.
For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you
again.
(Luke 12:22-23 KJV)
And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you,
Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body,
what ye shall put on.
{23} The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment.
(Luke 16:1-13 KJV)
And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which
had a steward;
and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
{2} And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of
thee?
give an account of thy stewardship; for thou mayest be no longer steward.
{3} Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do?
for my lord taketh away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am
ashamed.
{4} I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship,
they may receive me into their houses.
{5} So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto
the first, How much owest thou unto my lord?
{6} And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take thy
bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
{7} Then said he to another, And how much owest thou? And he said, An
hundred measures of wheat.
And he said unto him, Take thy bill, and write fourscore.
{8} And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely:
for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the
children of light.
{9} And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of
unrighteousness;
that, when ye fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
{10} He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much:
and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
{11} If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon,
who will commit to your trust the true riches?
{12} And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man's,
who shall give you that which is your own?
{13} No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and
love the other;
or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.
Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
(John 13:3-5 KJV)
Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands,
and that he was come from God, and went to God;
{4} He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel,
and girded himself.
{5} After that he poureth water into a basin, and began to wash the
disciples' feet,
and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.....
(John 13:14-17 KJV)  If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your
feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
{15} For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to
you.
{16} Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his
lord;
neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
{17} If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
(John 13:35-36 KJV)
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to
another.
{36} Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou?
Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now;
but thou shalt follow me afterwards.
(John 15:7-12 KJV)
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will,
and it shall be done unto you.
{8} Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be
my disciples.
{9} As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my
love.
{10} If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love;
even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.
{11} These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you,
and that your joy might be full.
{12} This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
(John 21:14 KJV)
This is now the third time that Jesus showed himself to his disciples,
after that he was risen from the dead.
(Mat 28:19-20 KJV)
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost:
{20} Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
(John 14:26 KJV)
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my
name,
he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance,
whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Gospel (#3) Presented by Jesus
(John 8:31-32 KJV)
Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
{32} And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

THE ESSENTIALS OF JESUS' PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL
1) REPENT (TURN AWAY FROM SIN AND WICKED BEHAVIOR)
2) FOLLOW ME (JESUS)
3) COUNT THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP
4) BECOME A DISCIPLE OF JESUS
*5) BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST (ENTRUST YOUR SPIRITUAL WELL BEING TO HIM)
6) OBEY MY WORDS (OF JESUS).
7) YOU MUST BE SPIRITUALLY  REBORN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
*BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST (ENTRUST YOUR SPIRITUAL WELL BEING TO HIM)
"To believe in, or on, is more than mere acceptance of a statement. It is so
to accept a statement or a person as to rest upon them, to trust them
practically; to draw upon and avail one's self of all that is offered to him
in them. Hence to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ is not merely to believe
the facts of His historic life or of His saving energy as facts, but to
accept Him as Savior, Teacher, Sympathizer, Judge; to rest the soul upon Him
for present and future salvation, and to accept and adopt His precepts and
example as binding upon the life."
from Vincent's Word Studies
(John 2:22 KJV)
When therefore he was risen from the dead,
his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them;
and they believed the scripture,
and the word which Jesus had said.
(John 6:64-66 KJV)
But there are some of you that believe not.
For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not,
and who should betray him.
{65} And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me,
except it were given unto him of my Father.
{66} From that time many of his disciples went back(Grk=departed backward),
and walked no more with him.
(John 12:16 KJV)
These things understood not his disciples at the first:
but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were
written of him,
and that they had done these things unto him.
(Gen 15:6 KJV)
And he{Abraham) believed in the LORD;
and he counted it to him for righteousness.
(Exo 4:31 KJV)
And the people believed:
and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel,
and that he had looked upon their affliction,
then they bowed their heads and worshipped.
(2 Chr 20:20b KJV)
...Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established;
believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.
(Psa 27:13-14 KJV)
I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the
land of the living.
{14} Wait on the LORD: be of good courage,
and he shall strengthen thine heart:
wait, I say, on the LORD.
(Psa 78:19-24 KJV)
Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the
wilderness?
{20} Behold, he smote the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams
overflowed;
can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?
{21} Therefore the LORD heard this, and was wroth:
so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;
{22} Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:
{23} Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of
heaven,
{24} And had rained down manna* upon them to eat, and had given them of the
corn of heaven.
*{manna=a supernaturally provided food, called literally  "what is it" in
Hebrew}
(Psa 106:10-15 KJV)
And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them,
and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
{11} And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
{12} Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
{13} They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
{14} But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the
desert.
{15} And he gave them their request;
but sent leanness into their soul.
(Psa 119:66 KJV)
Teach me good judgment and knowledge:
for I have believed thy commandments.
(Isa 43:10-11 KJV)
Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen:
that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he:
before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
{11} I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
(Mat 8:13 KJV)
  And Jesus said unto the centurion,
Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee.
And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
(Mat 9:28-30a KJV)
And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him:
and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this?
They said unto him, Yea, Lord.
{29} Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto
you.
{30} And their eyes were opened; .....
(Luke 8:12-15 KJV)
Those by the way side are they that hear;
then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts,
lest they should believe and be saved.
{13} They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, *receive the word
with joy;
and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation
fall away.
{14} And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard,
go forth,
and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring
no fruit to perfection.
{15} But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good
heart,
having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.
*{Receive=almost always related to accepting the Word into their heart}
see  (Acts 17:11b KJV)
.... they RECEIVED the word with all readiness of mind,
and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.
(Luke 8:49-50 KJV)
While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue's
house, saying to him,
Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.
{50} But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying,
Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
(Luke 24:25-27 KJV)
  Then he said unto them,
O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
{26} Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his
glory?
{27} And beginning at Moses and all the prophets,
he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.
(Luke 24:44-47 KJV)
And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I
was yet with you,
that all things must be fulfilled, which were written
in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.
{45} Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the
scriptures,
{46} And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to
suffer,
and to rise from the dead the third day:
{47} And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his
name among all nations,
beginning at Jerusalem.
(John 1:12-14 KJV)
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of
God,
even to them that believe on his name:
{13} Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the
will of man,
but of God.
{14} And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,
full of grace and truth.
(John 2:11 KJV)
This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee,
and manifested forth his glory;
and his disciples believed on him.
(John 2:22-23 KJV)
When therefore he was risen from the dead,
his disciples remembered that he had said this unto them;
and they believed the scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.
{23} Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day,
many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.
(John 3:12-21 KJV)
If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not,
how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
{13} And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from
heaven,
even the Son of man which is in heaven.
{14} And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the
Son of man be lifted up:
{15} That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal
life.
{16} For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting
life.
{17} For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world;
but that the world through him might be saved.
{18} He that believeth on him is not condemned:
but he that believeth not is condemned already,
because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
{19} And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world,
and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
{20} For every one that doeth evil hateth the light,
neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
{21} But he that doeth truth cometh to the light,
that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

The Gospel (#4) Presented by Jesus

OBEY THE WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST
(Lev 19:37 KJV)
Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them:  I am the LORD.
(John 13:17 KJV)
If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
THE ESSENTIALS OF JESUS' PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL
1) REPENT (TURN AWAY FROM SIN AND WICKED BEHAVIOR)
2) FOLLOW ME (JESUS)
3) COUNT THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP
4) BECOME A DISCIPLE OF JESUS
5) BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST (ENTRUST YOUR SPIRITUAL WELL BEING TO HIM)
*6) OBEY MY WORDS (OF JESUS CHRIST).
7) YOU MUST BE SPIRITUALLY  REBORN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
*OBEY THE WORDS OF JESUS CHRIST
OBEDIENCE IN THE CHRISTIAN LIFE:
Comes from the heart...
(Rom 6:17-19 KJV)
But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
{18} Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
{19} I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your
flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
Obedience benefits from testing...
(Psa 119:67 KJV)
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
(Psa 119:71 KJV)
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
(Psa 94:12-13 KJV)
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O LORD, and teachest him out of
thy law;
{13} That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity,
(Heb 12:11 KJV)
Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous:
nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness
unto them which are exercised thereby.
(Heb 12:5b-7 KJV)
My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou
art rebuked of him:
{6} For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
{7} If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
Obedience Is aided by the Holy Spirit....
(1 Pet 1:22-23 KJV)
Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit
unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
{23} Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
(Rom 8:12-14 KJV)
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the
flesh.
{13} For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
{14} For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
(2 Tim 1:12-14 KJV)
  For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not
ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able
to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.
{13} Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
{14} That good thing which was committed unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost
which dwelleth in us.

When you hear or read the Word of God, Obey It.
(Exo 35:1 KJV)
And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel
together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD hath commanded, that ye should do them.
(Mat 7:21-23 KJV)
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom
of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
{22} Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
{23} And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
(Rom 2:13 KJV)
(For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
(Lev 19:37 KJV)
Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I am the LORD.
(Lev 20:7-8 KJV)
Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I am the LORD your God.
{8} And ye shall keep my statutes, and do them: I am the LORD which sanctify you.
(Lev 20:22-23 KJV)
Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them:
that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
{23} And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out
before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
(Lev 22:31-32 KJV)
Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the LORD.
{32} Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow{Heb=purify,make ceremonially clean} you,
(Num 15:39-40 KJV)
And it shall be unto you for a fringe{Heb=the decorated, edge of a garment}
that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD,
and do them; and that ye seek not after your own heart and your own eyes,
after which ye use to go a whoring:
{40} That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
(Deu 4:1-2 KJV)
Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments,
which I teach you, for to do them,
that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.
{2} Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.
(Ezek 20:19 KJV)
I am the LORD your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments,
and do them;
(Deu 4:9-10 KJV)
Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons;
{10} Specially the day that thou stoodest before the LORD thy God in Horeb,
when the LORD said unto me, Gather me the people together, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they shall live upon the  earth, and that they may teach their children.
(Deu 11:18-22 KJV)
Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul,
and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets
between your eyes.
{19} And ye shall teach them your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
{20} And thou shalt write them upon the door posts of thine house, and upon thy gates:
{21} That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children,
in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
{22} For if ye shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cleave unto him;
(Deu 18:18-19 KJV)
I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee,
and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
{19} And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto my
words which he shall speak in my name, I will require it of him.
(1 Ki 8:59-61 KJV)
And let these my words, wherewith I have made supplication before the LORD,
be nigh unto the LORD our God day and night, that he maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel at all times, as the matter shall require:
{60} That all the people of the earth may know that the LORD is God,
and that there is none else.
{61} Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day.
(Job 19:23-27 KJV)
Oh that my words were now written! oh that they were printed in a book!
{24} That they were graven with an iron pen and lead in the rock for ever!
{25} For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the
latter day upon the earth:
{26} And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:
{27} Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not
another; though my reins{Heb=intetior organs} be consumed within me.
(Psa 103:17-22 KJV)
But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
{18} To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his
commandments to do them.
{19} The LORD hath prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom
ruleth over all.
{20} Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his
commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
{21} Bless ye the LORD, all ye his hosts; ye ministers of his, that do his
pleasure.
{22} Bless the LORD, all his works in all places of his dominion:
bless the LORD, O my soul.
(Ezek 11:19-21 KJV)
And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you;
and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an
heart of flesh:
{20} That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do
them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
{21} But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.
(Ezek 20:21 KJV)
Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness.
(Ezek 33:31-32 KJV)
And they come unto thee as the people cometh, and they sit before thee as
my people, and they hear thy words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goeth after their
covetousness.
{32} And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a
pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not.
(Ezek 36:25-27 KJV)
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean:
from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
{26} A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within
you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
{27} And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my
statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

The Gospel (#5) Presented by Jesus
YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN
(John 3:3 KJV)
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

THE ESSENTIALS OF JESUS' PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL
1) REPENT (TURN AWAY FROM SIN AND WICKED BEHAVIOR)
2) FOLLOW ME (JESUS)
3) COUNT THE COST OF DISCIPLESHIP
4) BECOME A DISCIPLE OF JESUS
5) BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST (ENTRUST YOUR SPIRITUAL WELL BEING TO HIM)
6) OBEY MY WORDS (OF JESUS CHRIST).
*7) YOU MUST BE SPIRITUALLY  REBORN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
BORN AGAIN
The phrase literally  means "born from above." Jesus answered a question
that Nicodemus does not even ask. He read Nicodemus?heart and came to the
very core of his problem, i.e., the need for spiritual transformation or
regeneration produced by the Holy Spirit. New birth is an act of God whereby
eternal life is imparted to the believer.
WHY DO WE NEED TO BE BORN  AGAIN?
(Jer 17:9 KJV)
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked:
who can know it?
(Jer 16:12 KJV)
And ye have done worse than your fathers;
for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart,
that they may not hearken unto me:
(Gen 6:5 KJV)
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that *{every imagination} of the thoughts of his heart was only evil
continually.
*{"every imagination" : or, the whole imagination,
The Hebrew word signifies not only the imagination, but also the purposes
and desires.}
(Psa 14:1-3 KJV)
To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God.
They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth
good.
{2} The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men,
to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
{3} They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy:
there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
(Psa 53:2-3 KJV)
God looked down from heaven upon the children of men,
to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
{3} Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy;
there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
(Rom 1:28-32 KJV)
  And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge,
God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not
convenient;
{29} Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness,
covetousness, maliciousness;
full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
{30} Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of
evil things, disobedient to parents,
{31} Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection,
implacable, unmerciful:
{32} Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are
worthy of death,
not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
(Rom 3:22-24 KJV)
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ
unto all and upon all them that believe:
for there is no difference: {23} For all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God;
{24} Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in
Christ Jesus:

THE NEW BIRTH ALLOWS US TO PARTAKE OF GOD'S DIVINE NATURE
(2 Pet 1:2-4 KJV)
Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of
Jesus our Lord,
{3} According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain
unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
{4} Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
(Heb 12:10 KJV)
For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure;
but he for our profit,
that we might be partakers of his holiness.

THE NEW BIRTH IS A GIFT OF GOD WHEN WE PUT OUR FAITH IN CHRIST; IT CANNOT BE
EARNED BY OUR WORKS
(Eph 2:8-9 KJV)
For by grace are ye saved through faith;
and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: {9} Not of works,
lest any man should boast.
(Titus 3:5-7 KJV)
Not by works of righteousness which we have done,
but according to his mercy he saved us,
by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
{6} Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
{7} That being justified by his grace,
we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
(Rom 6:22-23 KJV)
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God,
ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
{23} For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN: RECEIVE CHRIST, THAT IS,  TAKE  HIM INTO YOUR LIFE AND
MAKE HIM WELCOME
(1 John 5:11-13 KJV)
  And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life,
and this life is in his Son.
{12} He that hath the Son hath life;
and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
{13} These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the
Son of God;
that ye may know that ye have eternal life,
and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
(Romans 10:13 KJV)
  For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
HAVING BEEN BORN OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, WE ARE THEREFORE NOW BORN OF GOD AND
SONS* OF GOD
*{Note: Biblically, "SONS OF GOD" always includes women. A "SON" was in OT
times, the heir of the family fortune and the "builder of the family
name"(=Heb). God positionally treats both men and women as "SONS" in His
economy of things, perhaps viewing them both as in his original creation,
Adam.}
(John 1:11-13 KJV)
He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
{12} But as many as received him{Grk=took Him in},
to them gave he power to become the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name:
{13} Which were born,
not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man,
but of God.
(Rom 8:13-17 KJV)
For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die:
but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body,
ye shall live.
{14} For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
{15} For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear;
but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
{16} The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the
children of God:
{17} And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with
Christ;
if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
(1 John 3:9-11 KJV)
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin;
for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
{10} In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the
devil:
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not
his brother.
{11} For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning,
that we should love one another.
(1 John 4:7-10 KJV)
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God;
and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
{8} He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
{9} In this was manifested the love of God toward us,
because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world,
that we might live through him.
{10} Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us,
and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
(1 John 5:1-5 KJV)
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God:
and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of
him.
{2} By this we know that we love the children of God,
when we love God, and keep his commandments.
{3} For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments:
and his commandments are not grievous.
{4} For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world:
and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
{5} Who is he that overcometh the world,
but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
(1 John 5:18-20 KJV)
We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not;
but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth
him not.
{19} And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in
wickedness.
{20} And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an
understanding,
that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in
his Son Jesus Christ.
This is the true God, and eternal life.
CHRIST GIVES US THIS SUMMARY OF HIS OFFER OF SALVATION
(Rev 3:17-21 KJV)
Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of
nothing;
and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind,
and naked:
{18} I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest
be rich;
and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy
nakedness do not appear;
and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
{19} As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten:
be zealous therefore, and repent.
{20} Behold, I stand at the door, and knock:
if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup with him, and he with me.
{21} To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne,
even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

ADDITIONAL VERSES WHICH TALK ABOUT THE NEW BIRTH
(1 Sam 10:6-7 KJV)
And the spirit of the LORD will come upon thee(Saul), and thou shalt
prophesy with them,
and shalt be turned into another man.
{7} And let it be, when these signs are come unto thee,
that thou do as occasion serve thee; for God is with thee....
(1 Sam 10:9-11 KJV)
And it was so, that when he had turned his back to go from Samuel,
God gave him another heart:
and all those signs came to pass that day.
{10} And when they came thither to the hill, behold, a company of prophets
met him;
and the spirit of God came upon him, and he prophesied among them.
{11} And it came to pass, when all that knew him beforetime
saw that, behold, he prophesied among the prophets, then the people said one
to another,
What is this that is come unto the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the
prophets?
(Ezek 18:30-32 KJV)
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his
ways, saith the Lord GOD.
Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall
not be your ruin.
{31} Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have
transgressed;
and make you a new heart and a new spirit:
for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
{32} For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord
GOD:
wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.
(Ezek 11:19-21 KJV)
And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you;
and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an
heart of flesh:
{20} That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do
them:
and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
{21} But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable
things and their abominations,
I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.
(Ezek 36:25-27 KJV)
Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean:
from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
{26} A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within
you:
and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you
an heart of flesh.
{27} And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my
statutes,
and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
(Psa 51:10-15 KJV)
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
{11} Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from
me.
{12} Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free
spirit.
{13} Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be
converted unto thee.
{14} Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation:
and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.
{15} O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall show forth thy praise.
(Jer 32:39-41 KJV)
And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for
ever,
for the good of them, and of their children after them:
{40} And I will make an everlasting covenant with them,
that I will not turn away from them, to do them good;
but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
{41} Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good,
and I will plant them in this land assuredly
with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
(Acts 3:19-21 KJV)
Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;
{20} And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:
{21} Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all
things,
which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world
began.
(Rom 12:1-2 KJV)
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service.
{2} And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the
renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of
God.
(James 4:8-10 KJV)
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
{9} Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep:
let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.
{10} Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.
(1 Pet 1:22-23 KJV)
  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth
through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren,
see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
{23} Being born again,
not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible,
by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

(2 Cor 5:17-18 KJV)
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
{18} And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus
Christ,
and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
(Eph 4:20-24 KJV)
But ye have not so learned Christ;
{21} If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the
truth is in Jesus:
{22} That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man,
which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
{23} And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
{24} And that ye put on the new man,
which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
(Col 3:9-17 KJV)
Lie not one to another,
seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
{10} And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the
image of him that created him:
{11} Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision,
Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free:
but Christ is all, and in all.
{12} Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved,
bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
{13} Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a
quarrel against any:
even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
{14} And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of
perfectness.
{15} And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are
called in one body;
and be ye thankful.
{16} Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom;
teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual
songs,
singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
{17} And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord
Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
(1 Pet 1:3-5 KJV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively
hope
by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
{4} To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not
away, reserved in heaven for you,
{5} Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation
ready to be revealed in the last time.
(James 1:17-18 KJV)
Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,
and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness,
neither shadow of turning.
{18} Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth,
that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

The Gospel (#7) Presented by Jesus
REVEALING THE THINGS OF HEAVEN

(Isa 57:15 KJV)
For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity,  whose name is Holy;
I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
Isa 66:1-2 (KJV)
Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool:
where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
{2} For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit,
and trembleth at my word.
(1 Ki 8:27 KJV)
  But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?
(Mat 3:1-2 KJV)
In those days came John the Baptist, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,
{2} And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
(Mat 3:16-17 KJV)
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
{17} And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

THE ESSENTIALS OF JESUS' PRESENTATION OF THE GOSPEL

1) REPENT (TURN AWAY FROM SIN AND WICKED BEHAVIOR)
2) FOLLOW ME (JESUS) BECOME A DISCIPLE OF JESUS
3) BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST (ENTRUST YOUR SPIRITUAL WELL BEING TO HIM)
4) OBEY MY WORDS (OF JESUS CHRIST).
5) YOU MUST BE SPIRITUALLY  REBORN BY THE HOLY SPIRIT
6) OBTAIN FORGIVENESS OF SIN BECAUSE OF GOD'S MERCY
*7) JESUS TEACHES ABOUT HEAVEN
8) JESUS TEACHES ABOUT HELL
9) SUBSTITUTIONARY ATONEMENT
JESUS TEACHES ABOUT HEAVEN
Heaven is where believers inthe Lord Jesus Christ will go at death, but unbelievers  will never see. When the spirit leaves the human body, heaven becomes the believer's one true eternal Home. Those who believe in Jesus are meant to happily anticipate heaven each day with great joy and delight. For heaven is the place of eternal joy, being in the presence of Christ forever.

THE NEW TESTAMENT AFFIRMS THAT GOD CREATED HEAVEN
(Acts 4:24 KJV)
And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

HEAVEN AND EARTH STAND UNDER GOD'S LORDSHIP
(Mat 11:25 KJV)
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes.

HEAVEN IS THE DWELLING PLACE OF GOD
(Mat 6:9-10 KJV)
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
{10} Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN DAWNED THROUGH JESUS' PRESENCE AND MINISTRY
(Mark 1:14-15 KJV)
Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, {15} And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

JESUS SPOKE OF HEAVEN AS A MESSIANIC BANQUET, A PLACE OF JOY, CELEBRATION AND FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD
(Mat 26:28-29 KJV)
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the
remission of sins.
{29} But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

JESUS SPOKE OF HEAVENLY LIFE AS A TIME OF JOY, CELEBRATION AND FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD
(Mat 26:27-29 KJV)
And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
{28} For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
{29} But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the
vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.
(Mat 13:43a KJV)
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father....
(Mat 25:34 KJV)
Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father,
inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:
(Isa 25:6-9 KJV)
And in this mountain shall the LORD of hosts make unto all people a feast of fat things, a feast of wines on the lees, of fat things full of marrow, of wines on the lees well refined.
{7} And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people,
and the veil that is spread over all nations.
{8} He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
{9} And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.
(Rev 7:9-17 KJV)
After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
{10} And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
{11} And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
{12} Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
{13} And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
{14} And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
{15} Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
{16} They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
{17} For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

JESUS TAUGHT THAT THERE WOULD BE NO MARRYING OR GIVING IN MARRIAGE IN HEAVEN
(Luke 20:34-36 KJV)
And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
{35} But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the
resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: {36} Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

CHRISTIANS SHOULD REJOICE BECAUSE THEIR NAMES ARE WRITTEN IN HEAVEN
(Luke 10:20 KJV)
  Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
JESUS PROMISED A HEAVENLY HOME FOR HIS FOLLOWERS
(John 14:1-6 KJV)
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
{2} In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have
told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
{3} And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
{4} And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
{5} Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can
we know the way?
{6} Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
(2 Cor 5:1-2 KJV)
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
{2} For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

CHRIST IS SEATED IN HEAVEN AT THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER
(Eph 1:17-22a KJV)
That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of  him:
{18} The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
{19} And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe,
according to the working of his mighty power,
{20} Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,
{21} Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:
{22} And hath put all things under his feet,...

THE HOPE OF HEAVEN IS THE HOPE OF GLORY
(Col 1:26-28 KJV)
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
{27} To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this
mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
{28} Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom;
that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS GOD'S PLEDGE TO BELIEVERS THAT WE WILL PARTICIPATE IN HEAVEN
(2 Cor 5:5-10 KJV)
Now he that hath wrought us{Grk=made us a finished work} for the selfsame
thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest{Grk=down payment} of the Spirit.
{6} Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:
{7} (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
{8} We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
{9} Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted
of him.
{10} For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

OUR ETERNAL INHERITANCE IS KEPT SAFELY IN HEAVEN FOR US UNTIL THE REVELATION OF THE MESSIAH
(1 Pet 1:3-5 KJV)
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
{4} To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
{5} Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
(Mat 6:9 KJV)
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
(Acts 7:54-60 KJV)
When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
{55} But he(Stephen), being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly
into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God,
{56} And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
(Rev 21:3-8 KJV)
And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
{4} And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
{5} And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
{6} And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and
the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
{7} He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
{8} But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

The Gospel (#8a) Presented by Jesus--
WARNINGS ABOUT HELLHELL- the place of eternal torment and separation from God

(Mark 16:15-16 KJV)
And he(Jesus) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. {16} He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

(Heb 9:27 KJV)
 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

(Isa 66:23-24 KJV)
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the LORD. {24} And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

(Dan 12:2-3 KJV)
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. {3} And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

(Ezek 18:30-32 KJV)
Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin. {31} Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel? {32} For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

7) JESUS TEACHES ABOUT HEAVEN*
8) JESUS WARNS ABOUT HELL
9) SUBSTITUTIONARY ATONEMENT

Dear Friends,
The subject of Hell is unpopular and offensive, but the Bible talks about it a lot. Jesus talked about it often in the Gospels, warning the people that after you die your soul still ives on..it is eternal..because God is eternal.

God specifically says that He gets no pleasure from sending people to Hell, but that His Holy Nature demands that those who reject Christ must be judged and condemned for their rebellion. Over and over He tells sinners to "REPENT !!", turn away from your evil ways and rebellion against God, and humble yourself and call on the mercy of God to save you.

 (Ezek 18:32 KJV)
For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

(Jer 8:5-6a KJV)
Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return. {6} I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, What have I done? ...

Those who hear the Gospel, and turn from thier wicked ways, and believe on Christ, are promised eternal bliss and provision in Heaven in the presence of God and the angels and all other believers. However, those who reject Christ, bring onto themselves eternal damnation and punishment and all that goes with the Wrath of God...in other words, eternity in Hell. Hell is God's eternal garbage dump, the place where there is burning and suffering and torture, darkness and stench of burning sulfur (brimstone), and massive indestructable worms that do not die but devour and torment the persons who are cast into Hell forever.

(Mark 9:43-44 KJV)
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: {44} Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

(Isa 65:12-15 KJV)
Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not. {13} Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed: {14} Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit. {15} And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:

(Rev 20:14-15 KJV)
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. {15} And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The greek word for the lake of fire is "Gehenna" . Gehenna refers to the garbage dump  outside the city  of Jerusalem in the Valley of Hinnom. Fires continually smouldered there, as the site was used as a burning ground for refuse and the dead bodies of criminals and animals. In time, the valley became so noxious that its name became a synonym for hell. The Hebrew phrase ge (“valley of? hinnom eventually became the Greek Gehenna (Matt. 5:22; Mark 9:43, 45, 47).

(Isa 3:10-11 KJV)
Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. {11} Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.----------------------------------

THE PRE-EMPTIVE WAY OUT OF HELL: SALVATION THROUGH THE DEATH OF CHRIST

The Blood of Jesus Christ became the payment for our sins when He voluntarily shed it on the Cross of Calvary. Since Jesus Christ is God in the Flesh, God ordained that His sacrifice would be needed to pay for our sins and acceptible to appease God's Wrath. We enter in to this forgiveness for our sins when we believe on and trust in Christ and His sacrifice, and study His Word and obey it. When we do so, we escape the punishment which God has ordained for those who rebel against God and ignore His Son's sacrifice, and are rewarded by God with eternity in Heaven.

(Lev 17:11 KJV)
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

(Heb 9:22-24 KJV)
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission. {23} It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. {24} For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:-----------------------------------------

DESCRIPTIONS OF HELL
NO REMEMBRANCE OF GOD

(Psa 6:5 KJV)
For in death there is no remembrance of thee: in the grave who shall give thee thanks?

NO ACTIVITY OR USEFULNESS

(Eccl 9:10 KJV)
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

SHAME AND SILENCE

(Psa 31:17 KJV)
Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon thee: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
(Psa 94:17 KJV)  Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

REMOVED FROM THE LAND OF THE LIVING

(Isa 38:10-11 KJV)
I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years. {11} I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world.
(Job 7:9-10 KJV)  As the cloud is consumed and vanisheth away: so he that goeth down to the grave shall come up no more. {10} He shall return no more to his house, neither shall his place know him any more.----------------------------

HELL-THE LAND OF THE DARKNESS OF DEATH

(Job 10:21-22 KJV)
Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death; {22} A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness. (Job 16:22 KJV)  When a few years are come, then I shall go the way whence I shall not return.

(Job 17:1 KJV)  My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.

THE REBELLIOUS ATTITUDE OF THOSE LOVE THE WORLD BUT HATE GOD

(Job 21:13-18 KJV)
They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. {14} Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways. {15} What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him? {16} Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me. {17} How oft is the candle of the wicked put out! and how oft cometh their destruction upon them! God distributeth sorrows in his anger. {18} They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carrieth away.

(Psa 49:16-19 KJV)  Be not thou afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased; {17} For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him. {18} Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise thee, when thou doest well to thyself. {19} He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.

DESTRUCTION OF THE PERSON  IN HELL

(Psa 49:14-15 KJV)
Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling. {15} But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.

PREMETURE DEATH

(Isa 38:10-13 KJV)
I said in the cutting off of my days, I shall go to the gates of the grave: I am deprived of the residue of my years. {11} I said, I shall not see the LORD, even the LORD, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world. {12} Mine age is departed, and is removed from me as a shepherd's tent: I have cut off like a weaver my life: he will cut me off with pining sickness: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me. {13} I reckoned till morning, that, as a lion, so will he break all my bones: from day even to night wilt thou make an end of me.

JESUS DESCRIBES THE SEPARATION OF RIGHTEOUS FROM WICKED AT THE JUDGEMENT

(Mat 25:31-46 KJV)
When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: {32} And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: {33} And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.  {34} Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: {35} For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: {36} Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. {37} Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? {38} When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? {39} Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? {40} And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.  {41} Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: {42} For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: {43} I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. {44} Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? {45} Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. {46} And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
