When Weak
For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2Cor 12:10)

Do you ever feel like you don't know what to do? You may have a list of things that need to be done, but you neither feel capable, nor certain, about your next step.
The Lord knows the plans he has for you, to give you a future and a hope. (see Jer 29:11) Christian, we share his plans because he gives all who are born again his precious and very great promises. (see 2Pet 1:4)
We can say, "You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways." (Psalm 139:3) Before we came to this place, it was prepared for us. The promise of his word lights our way, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2Cor 12:9)
Maybe, like me, you wanted to feel strength in yourself to climb every mountain, and face every circumstance. But Paul the apostle shows us how to walk in the promise of God's strength. "I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." (see 2Cor 12:9)
It is here in weakness that we are trained by our good Shepherd to be strong in him, the power is all his. Let pray.
Lord Jesus, you are the faithful good Shepherd. Thank you for your promise that by continuing in your word, we would know the truth and be set free. Grant us to know your grace, to stand with you in the light of your promise. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (see 2Cor 12:9)
We have God's Word on it.
