In His Joy
....the joy of the LORD is your strength." (from Neh 8:10)

A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. (Pro 17:22)
Jesus said, "As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." (John 15:10-12)
We are strengthened as we abide in Christ and love one another. Let's pray.
Lord Jesus, thank you for your love. Help us to look to you and to set our hearts on you in the circumstances of today. Help us when we have trouble with other people that we would lay our troubles at your feet and be willing to do your will- to love one another. Amen.
Today's very great and precious promise
Love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil. (Luk 6:35)
