While there may be many factors in choosing our next president, it is even more important to choose someone who is in agreement with God’s Word.

Both candidates say they do not believe in abortion, but one candidate has stated that as president, he will pass the Freedom of Choice Act, a law which would annihilate every state law limiting or regulating abortion, including the federal ban on partial birth abortion. The other candidate has continued to vote against abortion.

Our nation is greatly divided on the issue of abortion. But most Jews, Catholics and Protestants agree that abortion is wrong.

Another issue that we must consider is the candidate’s stand on homosexuality. If you are unsure of what God’s Word says about this subject, read Romans 1:27 which says, "...the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another...." The next verse (28) says that God gave them over to a depraved mind (NIV). Remember God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of homosexuality (Genesis 19:4-24).

We must NOT elect a leader who will support legislation or aid the homosexual agenda in any way -- because if same-sex marriage is ever legalized or protected on a national level, there will be no turning back.
