Howdy elder brother,
I saw your message for me to come here and give an update....
Jack will not be having surgery... the earliest would be in Feb, when they do rechecks. He got an injection in his shoulder, not sure if it is helping or not. He has torn cartlidge in his knee.
I became a great aunt on Thanksgiving day. My niece and her husband had a baby boy, 9 pounds 5 ounces.
I became a great aunt last night as well..... my nephew and his wife had a baby boy, 6 pounds 12.5 ounces.
I also recieved a very short offline message from my son yesterday but I was not online 
so I missed him, it has been a very long time since we heard from him.
Jack was suppose to have a VA appt yesterday, we headed out for that appt but did not make it, car problems, the car is being tuned up, oil change, tranny service today.
We are praying that all the car is needing, our only means of transporation right now.
Thank you Sonwell for asking about us, you have no idea how much that means to us.
