Before I share, just a note here: All underlined scriptures AND WORDS are "clickable" so you can SEE & read the Word of God for yourself. Just hit your backspace button to return back to this writing!!   If you think that your illness is a result of being so "spiritual" that you need sickness to "buffet" you to prevent you from getting into pride, "lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations" (As Paul shared in 2Corinthians 12:7), then read no further here! Obviously you believe a certain way and nothing I can say or do can change what your FAITH is in! My prayer for you is to pray, seek the Father's will (Heb.4:16), learn whatever lesson you think He is trying to teach you in this and prepare yourself to leave this planet because, like the steam locomotives of the past, once the thing gets going, it goes "full steam ahead" and your faith in it will cause it not to stop but to keep going. Your body that God gave you, can only take so much "buffeting" through sickness and disease, then it just quits working all together. If you're like me however, not prideful but understanding that true humility is not having anything to be prideful OF since we can do NOTHING GOOD without Him and any good we do, is really Him doing a work IN US, then read on for revelation of healing the Lord desires His Body (the Church=The Body of Christ) to have!   Have you ever heard the statement: "He is the Great 'I AM'. Not the Great 'I Was' or the Great 'I Will Be', but the Great 'I Am'"?   It's TRUE that God chose to reveal Himself as the Great I Am to the children of Israel so they would know Who sent Moses (Exodus 3:13-14)  And it is equally true that it is GOOD to remember that God is the God of TODAY (Heb.3:14-15)....just as our faith is "Now Faith" (Hebrews 11:1;4:2, 7)   But to think God is ONLY "in Today", will cause us to lose a revelation of God that is necessary if we will receive all of the things Jesus died to pay for us!! He IS indeed the God of Yesterday, Today and Forever!! (Hebrews 13:8)   Consider that God is Spirit (John 4:24) and that He is not limited by linear time as we are. Consider that, for the person coming to the cross to repent of their sins and receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior that, although His death on that cross actually happened 2000 years ago, FOR THAT PERSON, It is as if He JUST DIED and shed His Blood! Amen? That is WHY God could say, "According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world,..." (Ephesians 1:4) and "...was foreordained before the foundation of the world,..." (1 Peter 1:20) (also consider Hebrews9:26)   Now, I said all that so you can understand that, at the time Jesus was being whipped, HE SAW YOU!! He understood that His death would Redeem us from the Curse (Galatians 3:13) He was paying the price for sin -which was the law's curse and penalty!! (Deut. 28:15, when reading the "list" of the curse to KNOW JUST WHAT JESUS HAS REDEEMED US FROM, it's especially important to notice vs. 61 makes ALL sickness and  disease a part of the curse!!) And He knew that the enemy, though defeated by Him at the cross (Colossians 2:15)would still attack us with that curse trying to get us to believe we must still "take it"!! So He bore those stripes to HEAL you from those attacks!! (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24) TO HEAL YOU FROM ALL THE DAMAGE THE CURSE HAS CAUSED!   So for example, WHEN Jesus was being whipped so unmercifully, He looked down through time and He saw ME!! He saw that I am His and that the enemy of my soul (1 Peter 5:8, Matthew 13:39,Psalm 143:3,Luke 10:19) would lie (John 8:44),steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10) USING THAT CURSE! And as He was whipped, and as He saw me "under attack", as He saw the curse of sickness upon me, He endured that horrible whipping saying, "I see you Marlene. I see that damage the curse is being brought to bear....but I am redeeming you from it and I bear these stripes so that you may be healed of all of thedamage of that curse"! If I will "see" it happening, believe what He did by standing on this word (Mark 11:24,1 Thessalonians 2:13) I can receive my healing from ANYTHING!! And so can YOU!!   I must do it God's Way though! I must stay in LOVE , I must be forgiving, I must not get into strife with anyone for any reason and I must understand the enemy and his devices to distract me from the word of God (usually by getting my focus OFF of God and His word and onto things and people around me I might see as my enemies.) If I will follow and obey, staying pure in His sight, I can have strong faith that He is faithful to His word and me.   So the next time the enemy tries putting something on you that you are redeemed FROM (or even if you are finally realizing at just this moment that that is what you are currently dealing with) and will stand in faith in Jesus' FINISHED work on the cross and by His "stripes", you can receive and be healed by faith in what He has said and what He has done. That is all faith IS you know: Just believing and receiving what He has already said about what He has already done! Amen?
