The country loves their queen..I saw her in 2000 when
Friesland has a big reunion of all the immigrants who left
to live in other countries. She came to greet all of us.

People will wear orange clothing, or banners,
or even change their hair to orange for Queens Day.
This is because the Queen is from the House of Orange

Just for everyone's information Queen Beatrix is the queen of all of the Netherlands..Friesland is just one of the Provinces of the Netherlands.
Holland is another province...Holland is not a country it is a province of the Netherlands.
