Advocate Rhonda Gallagher’s son, J.D., was injured in an electrical accident Tuesday. J.D. was doing a roofing job and had a metal object in his hand and touched an electrical wire. He was severely burned and fell off the roof. On the way to the hospital, the ambulance was in an accident where 2 paramedics and another woman had to be transported by ambulance. It has been quite an ordeal for the past 24 hours. PLEASE PRAY.

Rhonda writes: J.D. was actually holding a 10' piece of metal that hit the electricity wire. He took 7000 volts of electricity. They are still amazed he is alive. JD said to me through his tears that he knew he felt every ounce of the electrocution, everything turned black, his check wailed forward then slammed to a stop. He said he said "unbelievable" and knew he was going to die. He said he remembered feeling himself land and "willed himself back to life." He said by the Grace of God and the prayers around him from the crew he knew he only was alive because he has a mission now....although he doesn’t yet know what that is. He cried hard and said he knew if he could get his eyes to open he knew he would make it. He took every ounce of life in him to open his eyes....--he has had one surgery this morning on his hands/arms which are burnt to the bones. All flesh is gone from the fatty thick of the thumbs down into his arms just past the wrists. They cleaned and shaved the bone of the leg - surgery on that will be Saturday. If they can’t keep the bone from infecting they will take a piece of his thigh and wrap the bone with it before they repair it. His minimum hospital stay without the wrap will be a month - with no complications....keep the prayers coming -- he is feeling them!!!!! And thank you so much. .
