A few weeks ago we had to take my Mom to the hospital...she couldn't breath and was having some pain in her chest. They let her go that night, but they sent her to a heart specialist...they have said they believe the muscle of her heart is thickening? I'm not sure what that means--we go this afternoon to talk to the Doctor about all the tests she had done the last couple of weeks. My Mom has not made a commitment to God. She was going to church with us, but the little church where we attended closed. We are looking for a new church and have visited several. I just would like to know that she will be in heaven with God forever if something happened. She is 74 years old. |

Thank you very much--the test came back as within normal parameters (sp?). They say she is diabetic tho and wants her on a strict diet--and they want to do the test over again...in 3 months. I'm not sure what all this means--except hopefully a change of heart. My mom is a very hard person. She will not forgive anyone for any wrongs they did to her...she remembers everything--from her parents, brothers, sisters, my father, me and my sister, our kids! I get phone calls at times when she is upset about all we done wrong. I keep telling her she needs to forgive if she is going to be forgiven. I try to talk to her when the oppurtunity presents itself. There has been several pastors who have tried to talk to her. She just doesn't seem to get the concept of forgiving. Because she can't forgive she is very bitter. She will go to church and take part until it comes time to forgive--then she stops going. I just want her to make it to heaven. I thank you all for standing with me on her behalf...I know God is the only one who can change her heart. Blessings to all of you- Alive-Light |
