My sister that had breast cancer, has been in the hospital all week. She has a spot in her lungs too, and another lymph node, at the top of that same lung, lit up when they did the PET scan. She had a reaction to the shot they gave her the day after her first chemo treatment...this allowed them to find the other spot in her lungs. Say a prayer for her when you think of it, her name is Rose Mary. She has other health problems, along with diabetes....and her daughter is the one that I have requested prayer for many times...Debbie, that has lupus related vaculitis, as well as being 3/4 blind, and weighing 378 lbs....the Dr just told her she is on the verge of being bed fast...and Rose is the only one Debbie has that can take care of her, so it is a fragile situation there too.
They are doing a biopsey this morning of her lung...the one where they go down her throat...she will be sedated, and not sure what else they will do. They did a scan of her brain yesterday...please pray for her. She is very scared, and I understand that totally...I am a breast cancer survivor.
I will be leaving early in the morning to go see her, she lives in NC. It is about 5 hours drive from here.
