Remember the request I sent you a few days ago about the Virginia Tech student's parents who accidentally killed their other daughter while hurrying to get to the airport...It was a hoax. I am sorry to have sent you something that is not true! It is hard to believe anyone would be cruel and twisted enough to make up such a horrible lie! But I am glad that it was just a lie and never happened. If you (like me) forwarded this lie, please let everyone know it was a fake! And if you prayed (like me) that it never would have happened, then know that your prayers were answered, because it never happened. :)
Thanks! Tammy (aka Olive, in msn groups)
Here is the email I got from the lady who sent me the request, because she also thought it was real. At the end it has the website where you can check it out yourself:
Good Morning Ms. Olive
Thank you for you're prayers.
The prayer request that I forwarded to you was also placed on my
groups.
Because the story was so tragic, a lady checked it out and found it to
be a
hoax. I was dumbfounded. How can anyone write a lie of such tragedy?
It turns out this lady does it quiet often. She is the one in need
of our
prayers.
I don't know how this prayer request ended up in my Pastors hands,
unless
someone found it and forwarded it to him, but God knows the heartfelt
prayers that were prayed for this fictous family.
I'm sorry that I unknowingly sent you a hoax. God knows you're good
heart
and you're willingness to take another before the throne.
God bless you.
Kay
