These requests come from our Google ChristFollowers group: Jamie Valentine, the youth pastor at the Anaheim Vineyard needs some heavy prayer. He had a diving accident and was severely injured. He had surgery at Hoag Hosp. to repair damage to his neck, but the doctors don't know whether he'll be paralyzed or not. He's in his early 30s, is married and has 3 small children. Thank you for lifting this man and his family up. If/when I get an update, I'll pass it along. Nancy `````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Hello my Friends, Prayer works miracles... you know of my nephew Koty Garrett that was in that horrible car wreck on Dec 13th 2006. So much of his upper body had been crushed, his head had been punctured several times, the worse in his forehead, his neck was broken. That night the doctors at the trauma center gave us no hope he would live. I wrote so many emails asking for prayers and seemed to be praying myself constantly. God heard our prayers. The bones in his chest knit, his lungs began working... Today he is still wearing his neck brace but only when his neck gives him trouble. He still has to have plastic surgery to make a new left eyelid that was scraped off, his nose and ear has been repaired, he still needs skin grafts on his chemical burns. Today the sight in his left eye is nearly normal. He still has short memory loss, will get confused but doing so much better with that too. When he asks for or talks many of his words are correct now... a spoon for a spoon, etc... He is feeling so much better he is bugging his doctors to let him try to go back to work. That decision will be made at his next doctor's appointment. He will have tests to see just how well his brain is working. I thank God every day for his miracle, for Koty's life... and I thank each of you that prayed for him... He is asking for prayers that he will be well enough to return to work and do his job safely... I also want to request prayers for myself and my husband Henry. Neither of us are doing to well... In a lot pain. I remember all of you in my prayers. Rita by way of Vicki ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
