I found I could take a couple of excedrin and lie down on the floor with my behind against the couch and my lower legs where my butt normally is, then take one knee at a time and pull it back tworads my chest till it STARTED to hurt a few times, then pull both knees back and hold it for about thirty seconds, then relax, and even take a nap for a short time, it would relieve the sciatic pain.
Each time I would do it, it would be longer before it would return.
