I have such a huge lump in my throat as I write this!!
I received an update from my SIL Diane about her visit with the kids and saw their pictures...they were almost babies the last time I saw them (in comparison from then till now) and what she writes totally shocks me...I just cannot believe their Mother is doing this to them...you can literally SEE (as you read) the vengeful & spiteful attitude she has & she doesn't care WHO she hurts in the process, including these kids. I cannot believe the amount of money she is having to use to do all this either! *sigh*. I know it is a HUGE amount because Adam (the Dad) and Dan & Diane (the grandparents) are spending untold thousands to fight it (I really believe Cindy, the Mom, thought they would cave in due to the cost).
I will post the pics she sent along with captions I add.
Please understand that Dan & Di have 4 grown children - one lives in a far state and Adam the Dad who was not allowed to be there...but I do see the other 2 kids there...Austin & Sami's Auntie Colly & Uncle Jimmy.
(I wish I could convey to you the closeness of this family so you would know just how loved these kids ARE by them all...maybe the pictures will help you know it)

Here are some of the pics we took when we had our visit with the kids on April 27th. We had a wonderful time. Please keep us all in your prayers, we are not through battling Cindy in court and she is still pulling new things to try to stop us all from having a relationship with the kids. Please pray for her and her family also that they get the help they need. Adam has got a good job now and he is doing very well. He just wants to have his kids back in his life and Cindy is bound and determined for that not to happen. On April 26th he visited with Sami for an hour and she was shy but very talkative. She talked about dancing and singing and her toys. They has a very pleasant visit. Adam asked her if there was anything she wanted that she didn't have and she gave him a short list. Last Friday he went to see her and he waited for over 30 minutes before the woman who runs the Tree House where he goes to see Sami comes in and apologizes to him. She said she had been in a room with Sami for over half an hour trying to calm her down because she was convinced Adam was going to kidnap her. I wonder where that came from? One week she is fine and the next week hysterical. CINDY!!!! So we are contacting Adam's lawyer tomorrow (Today-May5th) and trying to get an Emergency hearing with the judge. Cindy has got to be stopped and ordered Psychiatric Care or we will never have the kids back in our lives where they belong. She has alienated Austin so bad with lies about his dad that he won't even see Adam. Adam wants to see his children through a therapist because he knows it will take a long time to undo the damage Cindy has done to these poor children. When we had them over to our house on the 27th Austin told us he isn't allowed to talk about Adam. And he calls him Adam not dad or his father. Adam's visit with Sami on the 26th was videotaped so the judge will see that Sami was not afraid of Adam on their first visit. So someone scared her in that following week. And we are going to get transcripts from March 31 when Adam's lawyer presented evidence of lies Cindy has told in the courts and in seeking medical care for Austin. The adoption court judge heard the case that day, we need to see the Civil Court Judge over what Cindy is doing to the kids mentally and emotionally. Please keep us in your prayers. We have a big battle on our hands and our grandchildren are the victims that need saving.
