Berry Sorbet
This refreshing sorbet is quick and easy to prepareand needs just a couple of hours to harden. If it becomes too hard to scoop when you want to serve itbring it out of the freezer for 10-15 minutes to soften a little.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup blueberries
1 cup raspberries
2 cups strawberries
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar or the equivalent in sugar substitute
1/8 tsp salt
PREPARATION:
Place berries in a blender with watersugar and salt. Puree until smooth. Pour berry mixture through a sieve into a container suitable for the freezer. Freeze berry mixture until firmabout 2 hoursdepending on dimensions of container.
Remove from freezer a few minutes before serving.
Makes about 4 cups.
