STRAWBERRY PRETZEL JELLO SALAD
2 cups crushed pretzels 1 1/2 sticks melted butter 3/4 cup sugar 3 Tbsp sugar 8 oz. Cream cheese 8 oz. Cool Whip 2 - 3 oz. Packages strawberry Jello 2 cups boiling water 2 - 10 oz. Packages frozen strawberries 1 small can crushed pineapple
Prehat oven to 400 degrees. Mix pretzels, butter and 3 Tbsp of Sugar together. Press pretzel mixture into a 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 7-8 minutes and set aside to cool.
Beat together the cream cheese and remaining 3/4 cup sugar. Fold in Cool Whip and spread this over the COOLED crust. DO NOT SPREAD ON WARM CRUST!!! It MUST be COMPLETELY COOLED!!! Don't try to take a Shortcut here, because trust me it will ruin the whole thing.
Refrigerate this until well chilled.
Dissolve the jello in the boiling water and let it cool slightly. Add the strawberries and pinapple and pour over the cream cheese Mixture. Refrigerate until set.
