Here I sit thinking about you again,

14 year’s it has been since you left us.

 Some day’s it seems like only yesterday!

Memories flood my soul.

 Remember when I was little

and we would drink coffee together?

I do that with my granddaughter too!

I wish she could have met you,

 she would have loved you so.

 I have told her all about you,

I am thankful for the memories you have given me,

without them I would be lost.

Oh how precious they are to me now.

The memory’s of your love carries me through each day.

 I hope I can carry that love on to my grandchildren.

My heart aches to see you and talk with you,

I miss those days but there is also joy

 in my heart because I know one day

I will see you again when we get to the

 throne of our loving Father.
