Heartstrings

My heart beats because of you, you saved me from a life of defeat and death.

You my Lord and Savior pulled me out of the mire and set my feet on the Rock.

Jesus you gave me a new life, A life in you. A life that once was not worth living for, but, now my heart beats for you.

 You healed my broken heart and restored new life in me.

You put joy and peace in this heart of mine. Now I am singing of your wonderful love.

Mercy & grace you showed to this wrenched soul.

Not deserving anything from you, because you already paid the price, when you died on the cross at Calvary.

Jesus you turned my sorrow and pain into joy, turned my hate into love, my unforgiveness into forgiveness.

You hold my heartstrings and you keep me on the straight and narrow path.

 When I fall you are there picking me up. Your love keeps me going day after day.

You gently call me when out of your will I walk. You Lord, gently pursued me back on the right path and forgive me when I ask.

You help me to love other’s that are unlovable. You Lord show me their true heart. You give me compassion for those you have compassion for.

You help me to see more than what the eye can see. You opened my eye’s to see other’s the way that you see them.

My heart strings are strummed by you Lord, You have created a new song in me.
