Now that I got your attention I just wanna say "hi" and hope you all are enjoying a great evening. Temp has dropped to 50F and may stay there due to overcast skies. I just got up from my afternoon nap as I start my night shift tonight, working from midnight to 8:00 am.

Prior to going to bed this afternoon I and a friend went out for coffee (Not Tim Horton's) and just chatted about mutual interests, sharing funny experiences and just venting. I am very grateful and thank God for friends. Jesus talked about friends and remarked that friendship is very important. We all need a close friend (s) not the fair weather kind either. Jesus went on to say that He, as a true friend, was going to lay His life down for them, not just for His friends but for His enemies as well, especially His enemies. Remember on the cross He asked God not to hold the sin they (His enemies) committed by crucifying Him, in fact He asked God to forgive them and their evil deed. Christ is my freiend, I can tell Him everything and as I do I feel the peace and comfort that only He can give flood my whole being. To "bath" in His love and friendship makes life so much more bearable no matter what I may be going through, no matter how dark the shadows of despair may be, His light causes these shadows to flee, He gives me the strength to endure whatever challenages come my way. We oft say that we need human friends, someone we can see and touch, God understands and provides that kind of friend. May our friendships glorify and honour God and bless us and help us endure the daily challenages we meet each day.
