I have been watching the election coverage shows this morning and am still undecided as to whom to vote for.

I’m still 66 and have been voting a straight Republican ticket for the past 45 years until this election. I still believe Sen. McCain did the party a disservice, in my opinion, picking Gov. Palin as his running mate and according to the polls you have been showing I’m not the only one that thinks she has hurt his chances of winning the election.

If I do vote for Sen. McCain today, it will be because, at times, he is a stand up guy, as confirmed when took the microphone for that confused lady and corrected her in saying Sen. Obama is a decent family man and not an Arab, which shouldn’t make a difference do to the fact he is a United States citizen by birth.

The second reason if I vote if I vote for Sen. McCain is because he is Pro-Life. I do not believe in abortions for birth control purposes. I do not believe we should have a law permitting late term abortions for any other reason than to save the life of the mother.

I’m not pleased with Sen. McCain’s military record from what I have been able to find other than the News spin articles. I have checked his record. I am a retired Air Force enlisted man, as such, Sen. McCain hasn’t done didly squat for us Vets and as I see it, has let our promised what VA benefits be taken away for us a bit at a time without doing anything to stop it. I have also considered what the Vets Against McCain have said about his POW imprisonment and I do wonder if what they say is correct in that he wasn’t as pearly white during those five and a half years as he claims. If he was "Why has his records been sealed?"

Even, as I write this respons. I am still undecided, and in all fairness, I believe, if Sen. McCain had run a better campaign I would have known from day one who to vote for. If he looses, in my opinion, it will be of his own doing, not us who would like to have been his loyal supporter’s. Sen. McCain ran a lousy campaign.

Hi Don,
I am not going to rehash old stuff for it is useless. The only reason I voted for McCain Palin is because they will come closet to what would be pleasing to the LORD.
I do not particularly care for any of the choices we have this year. Now as far a McCain and his service record, well at least he did what he could do for his country. He is not a perfect man nor any of us. If I were you I would not let somethings in a person's life stop me, myself from doing what's right. I do not belive for a second all the stuff you hear about McCain's record and all that jazz. Some stuff is being said about both not releasing this or that and so it goes on and on.
As I've said I have to go with what GOD would approve of and not who. A Christian must vote for righteousness. I could never ever vote for someone who approves of same sex marriage and will vote to and approve of sodomites so called rights, they have no rights except to be told the gospel. I'm not sayng treat them like dirt for that isn't Christlike but all the while we as Christians have to stand against all unrighteousness regardless.
I could never vote for someone who will approve of abortion and even if the child is born refuse them medical help if the so called parents decided they didn't want them for whatever reason.
The giving of my hard earned money God graciously gave me to some thugs and punks that are too dog gone lazy to work and for all those so called men and women out there who go around laying anything and popping out bablies left and right with no responsibility.
The liberals would like nothing better than to take away the individula rights to own and bear arms. There could be a lot more said but the main issue is what is morally right.
Don do what's right and please if you're even considering voting for Obama because of the economy, don't. God will bless those who do not put money ahead of what is pleasing unto the LORD and I can testify to that as an absolute truth.
This election isn't about McCain or Obama, it's about America and the very soul of a nation.
It's about sin vs. righteousness. Neither man is perfect with their so called "I'm going to do this or that". We aren't to rely on man our hope is in the LORD and nothing else.
Simply put go with God Don and HE'll bless you.
Brother Steve

I'm not crazy about McCain either, although I do believe him to be a true patriot.

The thing is, either HE or Obama is going to be President. We can't escape that, and there is no way on God's earth I will ever vote for Obama, not in a thousand years.

You vote as you believe God tells you do, and that's good enough for me.

I went out at 7am and voted and I was home by 7:30am. I asked for a paper ballot because I didn't want to wait in the line for the voting machines. After I asked, so did a lot of other people. I voted for McCain/Palin. God bless America !!

I will be voting McCain/Palin in a couple of hours and thanking God for the privilege of voting for people who believe life begins at conception.

I have been watching the news off and on and the black panthers were intimidating people in philly.  Funny how everyone claims prejudice and racism and they exhibit the worst traits of all.   I sincerely hope God grants us a reprieve from these vipers.
