Clay 'N Company Board Rules - Part II

 

TWO STRIKE POLICY

 

Clay 'N Company will run this board via a two strike policy...there will be no explanations accepted and no exceptions made!

 

If a person posts something that is INTENTIONALLY MEANT TO HURT, HUMILIATE & EMBARRASS any other member of this board OR if a person posts something that is hurtful, humiliating or embarrassing to Clay Aiken, his family or friends, that person will receive a "warning" e-mail to cease and desist. If it happens a second time, that person's membership will be immediately terminated!

 

THE MANAGERS OF THIS BOARD WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY INTENTIONAL ACTS OF DELIBERATE UNKINDNESS TO OTHERS!!!

 

POLITICS AND RELIGION

 

Discussions of Political issues and specific religious persuasions are not appropriate for the Clay 'N Company message board and are strictly prohibited.

 

***Please keep in mind however, that Clay Aiken is a devout Christian and lives this part of his life openly and unabashedly, it is a very large part of "who" he is. From time to time there will be articles about him that pertain to Christianity as it relates to Clay, his life and his performances. Please keep comments regarding these articles respectful of Clay and his religious beliefs.

 

RELIGIOUSLY SPEAKING: As our wonderful board begins to grow we will have members of all different faiths...and be assured that all faiths are sincerely welcomed! We want everyone to feel comfortable, that being said, we will most certainly allow threads of "Prayer Requests" or a request for "Blessings" for our loved ones and friends who may be experiencing a difficult time in their lives, or an illness, or on the lighter side...someone might want a prayer that their child make the football team at school or pass an entrance exam into their dream college. These are encouraged and deemed as appropriate and acceptable as they lean toward no specific religion.

 

 

Additionally... if the "spirit" moves you, you may also post a personal testimony that refers to a spiritual experience of your own...as long as you do not chastise others who may have a differing of beliefs and/or opinions.

*** Believe us when we say that no one appreciates being "preached" and "sermonized" to by an over zealous religious person. Please keep these types of dissertations to yourself.

 

Anyone discovered preaching to or dressing down another member will have his/her membership immediately terminated. That is an infringement upon another that simply will not be tolerated under any circumstances!

LET'S ALL PLEASE REMEMBER THAT CLAY HIMSELF BECOMES QUITE ANGRY WHEN HER HEARS ABOUT FANS DEPICTING HIM AS THE "SECOND COMING OF CHRIST"  LET'S KEEP THIS ALL IN PERSPECTIVE AND REMEMBER THAT CLAY AIKEN IS A POP STAR, A DEVOUT CHRISTIAN...BUT...STILL A POP STAR AND WOULD BE THE FIRST TO TELL YOU THAT THERE IS ONE GOD AND ONE JESUS CHRIST! PLEASE, LET'S RESPECT GOD, CHRIST AND CLAY AIKEN.

Fanfic..."Clay Fan Fiction" is strictly prohibited and will be enforced with the deletion of threads and/or posts entering this arena. A little joking insinuation or innuendo is perfectly acceptable.

Reasons for disallowing Fanfic: It becomes a difficult task to keep respect for Clay under control in fanfic. While one individual may be very respectful and write something sweet there will always be another right behind to cross the line. We feel that Clay himself could very well be uncomfortable with being used in a publicly shared fantasy. We know that many people enjoy fanfic and many boards allow it, however we prefer to not tread those waters and keep this board an inviting place for all ages.

***Prospective members in "Pending" status will have 1 full week to respond to a verification e-mail. If there is no answer at the end of this period your name will be removed from Pending, but you are more then welcome to apply again at any time! We completely understand that sometimes Real Life issues keep us from things that are important to us!

Please understand that we are looking for valid Clay Aiken fans & admirers, a response of "hi" or "I want to" or anything else "non-telling" will not be viewed as an interested applicant, the application will not be taken seriously and unfortunately will illicit no response from us.
