I just posted on Imaiken's thread that our son took a new job in Colorado. He went out there knowing only the guy that recommended him for the position. On Saturday it was really difficult for him and of course us as well. He was really emotional and I know scared leaving friends and family. Both Bill and I think this is a good opportunity for young Bill, but I know he was apprehensive about it. We are hoping this was the opportunity he has been waiting for ......(he has been struggling lately)....and that he gives himself time to adjust to his new surroundings and work. Thank you my friends.  |

Cnder, My heart goes out to you, I dread the day my girls move away. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Will pray for Bill to adjust to his new surroundings and to be happy. God will take care of Bill, he loves him even more than you do. big hug, Cathy |

Oh thank you so much dear friends.....I worry about him so! He has been there a week now, things going ok, people are being nice to him. He said, there are some older people in his apartment complex, and he said "they seem like they want to take care of me"! LOL! |

Saying a prayer for him Cnder. I know how difficult it can be for him and for you and Bill as well. My baby (well she's 23) moved out a year ago and not a day goes by that I don't miss her terribly! It does get better as time goes on but oh how they are missed! I'm sure he will do just fine after he adjusts and so will you. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs ,Kdee |

Dear Cnder, I know how difficult it is for a young man to go so far from home for a new job...my son had to go to Massachusetts for a job opportunity when he was just19 and was taking a break from school. It was very difficult for him and he lasted about 6 months. It was an online company and didn't survive, Chris said that if the company wasn't going under he was coming home either way. He was way to young to try this, he desperately missed his friends and family, he again was only 19. He went back to school LOL I will keep young Bill and you and your family in my prayers that he does well, loves his new position and makes new friends quickly and easily! God Bless him Cnder and you too!!  |

Thank you all for your love and prayers.....the tough part last week is the fact we were at the beach....and with Bill's schedule it was hard to reach him.....However, I have to say that he sounded much, much better over the phone when we talked with him! Likes the people at his new job and seems to be adjusting well. Said he had to get some living room furniture!!! His furniture here wasn't worth hauling out to Colorado....wish I could be there! Said he had to get curtains too!!! Oh brother....I can just imagine what he gets!  Thanks again...you guys are the best! |
