Wow Wow and Wow !!!
A word of advice to anyone who isn't going to this concert, You Must Go!
This concert is utterly amazing! The cellcerts seem to go fast but being at the actual concert didn't go fast at all, not to me anyway.
We got there to the venue around 6 and went over to Clay's busses but after a few minutes we realized that he wasn't there so we went over and got in line. At 7 they opened up the doors and let us in and we quickly went to our seats and I went to get my programs. OMG the pictures of Clay are unbelivable and will make you evaporate...ha He is just gorgeous!
I won't go over all the songs because you all know them by now but the ones that stand out to me are "Solitaire and "Unchained Melody" -Clay nailed them. It is amazing how he hits every high note! "Alone" -Just Beautiful! "WDC" wow hot, hot, hot! When he took off his robe the crowd went nuts!
And when he went up and down Angela..well let's just say he knows what he's doing. "Living La Vida Loca" OH MY..he has definatly learned some new moves lol
The fifties and sixties melody's were just amazing..And that boy can really play the piano, looks like he has been taking lessons for awhile.
The Elvis songs..well we all know how when Clay sings someone else's songs he makes them his own, the same with them.
I think my favorite of the night was when they sang "Happy Together". The harmony was amazing and I found myself happily singing along.
Jacob's rendition of the Michael Jackson song was excellant and Quiana's version of "I will always love you".. If you closed your eyes you would swear you were listening to Whitney herself. I'm not exagerating, she is that good!
Clay was his usual funny self and when he forgot the words to WYSYLM he put the microphone out to the audience to sing along and then he turned to Angela and he finally got it together during the chorus..But do we care if he forgets the words? Heck NO! We would listen to him sing the alphabet ha..
And then came "Invisible"..Wow the electricity in the air was amazing and the crowd was on their feet singing every word with him. There was definatly love in the air and I know he felt it. It was a mutual exchange of emotions going back and forth from us to him..
As the last note played he went over to the jukebox and hit it and it went off and all this confetti came down from the ceiling, so cool!!
Antother hightlite of the evening was just meeting so many people. I made so many new friends!
Its was so funny becasuse in line in front of me was this woman and her two little boys and the little boy says to me "Who is Clay Aiken"? For a minute I thought he was kidding and after I realized he wasn't I told them all about Clay. They had heard had good he was but had never seen him in concert. I think I Clayverted them and I'm sure after the concert that Clay had three more fans.
On the way back to the hotel we had taken a cab and we saw this large bus coming down the road in back of us..umm..it was one of Clay's busses...So here I am in the back of the cab frantically waving my arms at whoever was in the front of the bus.. I don't know if Clay was in there or who it was but I was waving like a fool anyway..lol
When we got back to the hotel we met up with the Baltimore Claymates and went to their room and had so much fun talking about the concert and everything Clay. I gave them one of our pins and they really liked it. It was so nice to meet them.
We got to meet up with Cnder and Bill again, like old times.
Sorry I didn't get to meet you Clamy, security wouldn't let me go to the front section, grrr. But I'm glad Cnder could give you the pins. Sorry I couldn't meet up with you either Artteachr2, I will mail them to you.
So...to make a long story short..
WE HAD A BLAST!!
COME ON WOLF TRAP!!
