Chicken Cheese Burger
1 Lb. Ground Chicken
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon chopped red chili
¾ cup bread crumbs
1/3 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons chives
4 - ½ ounce slices of Cheddar cheese
1 clove of garlic, crushed
Sauté onion in a frying pan with a little oil. When golden, remove onion and drain on paper towel. Using hands mix together in a bowl the chicken, onion, paprika, chili, bread crumbs, sour cream, and chives. Add a dash of salt and fresh ground pepper.
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions. Shape into balls. Press a piece of cheese into the center of each ball and round the mixture completely enclosing the cheese. Flatten the balls to make patties. Heat Olive oil in frying pan. Add garlic. When mixture is foaming add patties. Press with spatula to flatten. Cook over medium heat until internal temperature of chicken reaches 165 degrees F.
