I went on a tube hunt and found several I liked. I downloaded, unzipped, and finally figured out where to put them to access them. Now I have more tubes than I want at one time in the tubes tool. How to I sub group them so I will only get one theme at a time in the tubes tool? Like just flowers, just birds, just the ones that came with PSP, etc. |

Ran across this link at Designs by Joy while looking for something else & remembered you'd asked about tube subfolders Mom2...hope ya don't mind a butt-insky Ollie, but this tut really elaborates on the shuffle of tubes, gotta do something about mine myself, lol. |

Thanks Ollie. I had kept trying to do that, but everytime I did, I got an error message. Usually "Not a valid path." Works now though. Odd. Faerilee, I went to that link and thought it was a great way to do it so I followed the directions just to see what it looked like first hand. When I get more tubes, I just might do it that way. We'll see. |

I isolated some images that I took, and tried to make a tube. The outer edges are white, and it is hard to see them against the transparent bkg to erase them so that they don't overlap white edges over other layered images. Do I start over, erase edges, and try again? Is there any way to get rid of the edges easily? I am trying to send the zip with this message if you need to see this thing. I am not sure that I am very clear here. |

Draco...if you're not that familiar with layers, this may be helpful, but if you're very familiar, it's over explaining, lol... Add a raster layer... Change Layer2 to background if you want, but have these settings on the popup... Click Send the new layer to the bottom... Select a dark color & using flood fill{}, click on graphic & the background, only, will be dark, making the white pixels easier to see... Now make the merged/roses layer active by clicking on it... Click on your eraser, and get to work. If the edges seem jagged, you can use your touch up tool{}, set on soften, 1 pixel, and skirt the edges. When you're finished, go to layer palette & delete the background... That's about it...you can use your selection tool to cut them individually and tube 'em. ~:o) |
