Hi..I have two relatives buried in Liberty Cemetary in Longlane Mo...one is James I Toombs b 06281853 d 02151913..I have been able to get his marriage Lic. & death cert. but all I can find on his father Thomas B Toombs b 1828 d 1878 is an administrators bond from Buffalo dated 10061886..they both came from Tn at the start of the war of northern agression..ie: Civil War....any info on these men would be appreiciated...Thanks Bob

    I do not have any information on James or Thomas, however, when I was reading my Dallas County , Missouri History Book I came across a Charles J. Toombs who was a teacher at Washington Rural School ( 1834- 1939)
    Not sure that can help you at all, or even if you have this information , but Toombs sounds like an unusual surname to me , so who knows..Good Luck hope it helps..
