The will of the Sun is tensely squared by Saturn's resistance today, exacerbated
by the ongoing Mars retrograde in stubborn Taurus, creating situations that
prevent us from having our own way. But Saturn always has something to teach us,
so it's vital that we pay attention to what the blockages or delays signify.
Meanwhile, the Moon enters optimistic Sagittarius at 8:54 am EST, acting as a
counterbalance to the pessimistic Saturn aspect. We can see the potential, even
if we cannot attain our goals yet. Learning patience is certainly one of the

Scream Therapy
I would scream if it would help.
But right now, I don't even know
If it would.
A timid scream might ease
The pressure, without my having
To come out of my shell.
A medium scream would help
Even more, but no one would call
The cops.
A loud scream would scare my pets,
But the neighbors wouldn't hear it
Through closed doors.
Hmmm.
To maximize Scream Therapy,
I think first I will write down all the
Things, people, situations that I want
To scream about.
Then, I will go over the list until
I am so into the emotion and upset
That I scream loud enough to
Wake The Dead!
Then, I will spend all night
Trying to get them to go back to
Their graves.
Mission accomplished!

St Martin de Porres Day -This Catholic saint was the son of a Spanish knight and
a Panamanian woman of Indian or Negro descent. He was trained as a barber but
became a Dominican monk at the age of 15. He was known for his tending of the
poor and sick, especially slaves, and abandoned dogs and cats. He is the patron
saint of racial harmony, as well as the patron saint of Italian hairdressers and
barbers.
A good day to get your hair cut (by an Italian!) or do something that promotes

St Hubert's Day - Patron of dogs and the chase. He is also invoked against
rabies. Hunting season opens on his day. Belgians bring specially prepared
breads to a special Mass held in his honor. The blessed bread is taken home,
where a sacred sign is made over it, and it is then eaten. Pieces are fed to
dogs, horses and other animals to protect them from rabies. St. Hubert seems to
have inherited some customs and qualities associated with Odin and other male
divinities who led the hunt and oversaw the activities of the dead.
Remember the ancient ways and keep them sacred!

To Do Today: Around this time of year, people in Alaska have a playful
tug-of-war between summer and winter. Those born in winter take winter's side -

mild and goodness will prevail. This activity is for children, and it reinforces
the idea of seasonal cycles. Place a ribbon in the middle of the tug rope with
the name of these sisters painted upon it. When the game is over, see which side

Spell A Day -Letter Spell

Decorate the paper, making it as visually attractive as possible. Use paint,

Oracular traditions like the Scandinavian runes are symbolic languages developed
