Hi Everyone I'm sorry I haven't been around to update you on Daysee's condition. I've been so busy at work (ownership change & new programs to learn) and I haven't been feeling well myself...........but.......... It's been one month that Daysee's been in the hospital and she still doesn't have all the answers as to what's going on with her. She had a large hematoma drained last week and may need to have it drained again. She also had a PET scan done and the doctor is meeting with her and Skip tomorrow (Tues.) to go over all the results. According to her doctor, the chemo is not working and he is going to discuss what other options she may have. To be honest, I'm worried, and I know she is too. So, again, I ask all of you to keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I am going to try to give her a call later tomorrow night or early Weds. morning, and I promise you I will let you know what's going on. Karen |

Karen Sweetie... I was on the phone with Mary last night when I saw this latest update... and now to hear these more details it is sure heart breaking! But I know that Daysee is God's Child and that HE has her in His hands and I do pray and know that she will find the strength to see her thru each day and minute even.... I haven't had the privilege of meeting MA but I sure have enjoyed every single conversation we have ever had and she is just such an Angel put on earth... So yes she has us all keeping her in our hearts that the Lord provides strength and that His will will be what is to be... Love you Daysee and thank you for keeping us updated Karen.. I am so sorry to hear things are not going well w/ Daysee. I haven't had the honor of knowing her...I will be praying for her and her family...she is already on my mom's prayer list at the church...i'lll update them. Lisa |

Good Morning I had a hard time reaching Daysee because her phone service at home was out. It's finally working and I got through to her last night. She sounds much stronger than she did last week and says she feels better. She had a doctor's appointment with her primary on Weds. Her lungs are clear, kidneys are functioning as well as can be expected under the circumstances and that he advises her not to have any type of chemo until she is stronger. The hematoma on her leg began to drain during the middle of the night and the visiting nurse wants her to call her doctor and have it looked at. I told her I would be in touch with her over the weekend. I am also going to give her daughter Tammy a call. Will keep you all posted. Karen |
