Thyroid....I've been hypothyroid since 98.... and you're right about the metabolic upset... could be that simple. When you have the #'s it will be easier to tell.....
I hear ya on the referral system.....I think that is all the gp is for anymore....the one I go to had a patient come in (I was waiting for my appt) and she had cut her hand on something and the dr. came out and told her she didn't have any bandages that she had to go to the hospital 16 miles down the road. Now don't you think a towel would have worked so she could have at least applied pressure to her hand while she drove to the hospital?
And then in other places, it just seems that each dr. office has become it's own little hospital...they send their patients round and round and round...I think they use to call that a circle jerk....nope, that's not it...but something like that.
I know sometimes there's reasons for it but not for the most part...all it does is scare the bajeebers out of the patient. Great A1c though, kiddo! Let us know what you find out. see ya. Peace,Cheryl
