I am new to message boards so bear with me.  I am trying to get information of the different complex carbs.  Is there already a thread on this subject?
Thanks

Just didn't want you to feel ignored...
There are SO SO SO many sites about diets for diabetics.  You can look on any search engine to find one.  Same about the use of complex carbohydrated in  a diabetic diet.  Look for those grains which are high in fiber,  Fruits on which you eat the peel (like apples are high in fiber as long as the peel is on).  And most vegetables are good, as well.  Avoid the starchy ones like potatoes, corn, and very sweet ones.  Also avoid "white" foods like sugar (of course), white flour and anything made with it, white rice, pastas made with regular white four, etc.
Hope that helped some!   HUGS!

I am so very new to this computer thing.  I thought that I didn't send the message right.  Please forgive my not being able to make my typing larger than it is.   I am not new to diabetes but still am having a hard time understanding te mass of infromation and determining what is good for me.  Again thank you so much for answering my questions.
