I think they're OK!
 Do you have a blog?
I have three blogs.(2 artsytartsys,one for my paintings & one for my crafts.No.3 is "Way Down South"which is about my family & me)
Do you read others blogs?
Only when I have time.
Does one really need to blog?A person can be careful about what they put on a blog.But I think blogging can be a fun way to express yourself, sorta like a high tech diary.

My son and his wife used one while they were travelling to let everyone know about their travels and posted pics so anyone interested could ooh and ah over them, like a fond mother here and in the US

When I am in a bad mood, I blog. I use the internet to discuss my feelings. I make it private and basically use it as a diary. I, as I said, do not share these thoughts I am typing in blog. It is mainly used for me to vent when needed.
I don't read anyone elses blog.

If it sounds like a personal diary I don't want to see it and feel it should be kept private. The others are Ok.

No
Do you read others blogs?
No but I have seen some.
Does one really need to blog?
I guess this would be a personal opinion based on needs.

Nope

Not really unless they ask me too
Does one really need to blog? Its a personal preference to me some people like to some don't

I see no harm in it but don't know much about them.
They sound as if you would have to broadcast their existence so their scope is pretty limited?
