I have mature bushes and vines that continually need clipping.
I knew what I was getting myself in to but I like the clipping and snipping.
I gardened avidly for over twenty years and had every flower imaginable .
Some really pretty gardens with winding river stone paths.
Now I only have a few flowers. The vine is Jasmine and it scents the air.
It is the vine that I howled about my neighbor cutting down.
I got over that. We are  still friends.

My husband just bought his mother a smoke tree.  They are so pretty they are ones that have purple leaves on them.  Anyway he planted one for us as well this weekend.  I hope it grows well.  Right now it looks like a little stick with a couple of leaves on it

A lot of my flowers in the planters came back. We didn't have so much frost this year. I took cuttings from my coluses to plant now. My little hydrangas are doing good.
