Vinegar Pie

1/4c  butter
2  eggs
1c  water
1/2 c  white sugar
1/2c  brown sugar
1/4c  flour
1t  nutmeg
3T  apple cider vinegar
1  9" pie shell

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Melt butter in cup; beat eggs in small bowl.

In large bowl blend both sugars, flour, and nutmeg with fingers until no lumps remain. Stir in vinegar, eggs, butter and water until well mixed.

Pour into pie shell and bake at for 30 minutes. Remove and cool until the filling is firm enough for cutting.

I had to dig around in my recipe books to find it.  I have not made it for a few years and will probably make it this Labor Day weekend since we will be having company coming in.
