REPOSTED FOR LONESOME GRANNY

From: Lonesome Granny Sent: 8/22/2005 1:17 PM
Hi everyone,
I am a 53 year old grandmother from Radcliff KY (located just outside of Fort Knox) of a beautiful 7 year old.  I call her my miracle grandaughter because my daugher (she's 34 and lives with me and her dad for the time being) has a birth defect and is disabled, and was told she shouldn't have children.  But she was determined to defy her disability by giving us this beautiful little girl.  She is the light of my life.  My son (he's 30) is also living with us due to circumstances he had no control over.  His is a temporary situation also.  Hopefully, very soon, I will have my house back.
I've been married for 35 years.  My husband is originally from New Hampshire.  He spent 24 years in the military (army).  I have recently had major surgery and will be homebound the majority of the time for two more months.  I was "terminated" by the company I worked for the day I went on medical leave.  I am going crazy not being able to do what I am used to be doing.  I'm not asking for sympathy, just somebody that understands what I'm going through.  I sure can use some unbiased friendship right now.  I welcome any responses.  I'm glad to be able to become a part of your group.  Thanks!
