Materials:
A tin pie plate, a yellow votive candle, a paper cutout of a zodiac wheel (hand drawn is fine), and a list of astrological houses and their associations from an astrology book.
Directions:
Tape the zodiac wheel to the center of the pie plate and place the votive candle in the middle of the wheel. Light the votive candle and think or say your question out loud (or you can write it on a piece of paper and place it under the candle, careful it will not catch on fire).
As the candle melts and burns down, base your reading on the houses of the zodiac that the wax flows into. For example, if the wax flows mostly into the 6th and 10th houses, (your question being "Will I do well on my final exams?") this could be interpreted as follows: Wax in the 10th house implies that you will receive recognition and honors for your work--probably a very good grade. The wax in the 6th house says that you need to study and apply yourself on a daily basis and not save everything for the last minute to memorize. Or if the wax flows into the 7th or 8th houses, it could be that other people and other people's issues may be impinging upon your study space and/or distracting you from your studies.
