In November 1987, the IRA blew up a Rememberance Day commemoration service in a town called Enniskillen in Northern Ireland.

Eleven people were killed.

In August 1998, the 'Real' IRA blew up 31 people in a small shopping town called Omagh, Northern Ireland. That figure includes two unborn children.  Many more were injured.

The emergency services and civilians in and around the town all helped with ferrying the injured and parts of peoples' bodies to hospitals across the province.

The warning that was given was wrong - it made the police shepard the people away from where they were told the bomb was.. towards where the bomb actually was.

http://www.wesleyjohnston.com/users/ireland/past/omagh/main.html

The IRA have bombed London no less than 101 times. They have bombed Belfast, Derry, Bangor and various other towns throughout Northern Ireland, countless times. They have bombed other towns and cities throughout the rest of the UK.. Birmingham, Guilford, Manchester, Warrington etc etc.

Today, just like the placards and smashed shop windows of businesses in Belfast used to say after a bombing, it was "business as usual" in London.

For these attacks on London, there was no warning. It is lucky that the fatality count was not much, much higher.

There is still no official group that are considered to be responsible.

But does it really matter?

Terrorists murder civilians and blow up businesses etc for publicity.. to highlight their 'cause'.

Most terrorists, and their supporters, call themselves "freedom fighters". But all they really do is liberate innocent people of their lives.

What could be more free than the RIGHT TO LIFE? The right to go about your business unfettered?

These people murder innocent individuals without concern for their right to life. Yet they often, hypocritically cite some kind of oppression or rights abuses as an excuse for their attrocities.

In reality they are cold, callous killers. Some use the attrocities to line their own pockets with blood-stained cash. Others are maniacs and fanatics that are prepared to go so far as to kill themselves for the belief in their 'cause'.. it only shows that those people have been brain-washed.

The time has come for all sensible people to stop looking for excuses for terrorism.. to stop trying to understand why or sympathise.

The time has come to launch a concerted effort to destroy these kinds of groups.. with all the weapons at our desposal... including censorship.

If they don't care for the FREEDOM of life and of peoples' RIGHT TO LIFE, then why should we care for or even consider their right to life?

It is time to clean out the terrorists... domestic terrorists in the UK for a start: the IRA.. the 'Real' IRA.. the Continuity IRA.. the UVF.. the UDA... and 'international' terrorists too.

We should go on the offensive, and all democratic countries should join in the fight against these most foul of freedom and rights abusers.

I'm beginning to think that civilisation is not an option when dealing with murderers who have no regards for themselves or the people that they murder in their petty I was oppressed by someone BS. You have to draw a line when innocent lives are at hand.

Those who attack non-military targets are not "freedom fighters" or an "underground".  They are common murderers that should be treated as such.  Any country or organization that sponsors or harbors this scum should be dismantled.

I hope the UK gets the party responsible for this atrocity.  If it is a country behind it, I hope Blair bombs the hell out of it and gives our leader, Bush, a call so we can bomb the craters.  We are as sick of this insanity too.  All civilized countries on the planet need to work together to exterminate every last one of them and send the message loud and clear that we won't tolerate it.

The only way to really do it is for regular citizens to become more aware, more enlightened, more savvy about what goes on around them. Take self-defense courses, be fit, be assertive, be watchful, and don't be afraid to call the police if there's something strange going on.
We can't be sheep any longer - "Consumers" is such an ugly word, and that's basically all we are. We consume, I get a picture of cows chewing cuds, and we don't look after ourselves, we expect the government to do it.
