My family recipe uses "Irish Mist" instead of Irish Whiskey - it's an irish whiskey liquor and makes for a smoother taste and you can then eliminate the sugar. If I don't have any Irish Mist on hand, my favourite whiskey is "Black Bush" |

I use Irish Creme instead of Creme de Cocao otherwise our recipe is the same. I drink a lot of Irish coffee when it is chilly...every now and then find myself rather tipsy...but I am home so what the hay....makes you warm on a cold damp night. Teddie |
