does the first chill of fall make everyone long form warm yummy comfort food. I know it does me. I got a lovely certified angus beef chuck roast yesterday at the store, on fabulous sale of course, that with onions, celery, potatoes, carrots and a hearty dose of pepper,and  a can of progresso french onion soup to bolster the drippings for the cooking and gravy. all cooked in the roaster. should make the house warm and it always smells great. when its done you just use the pan juices to whip up the gravy (i like mine very thin), and you have food of the gods. And lots of leftovers. Its what im gonna make later today. Im hungry now.
