The Basics of Gor From The Central Fire - www.counter-urth.com
Gor is not fair Gor is Harsh Gor is GOR! Gor, planet of -(noun): as Tarl was taught by his father, 'Gor is the name of this world'. In all the languages of the planet, it means 'Home Stone'. The planet is also called the Counter-Earth from the writings of the Pythagoreans who first speculated on it's existence. According to the Initiates, Gor was originally a satellite of a distant sun in the Blue Galaxies. It was moved several times from star to star by the Priest-Kings, by one theory, but, according to the 'Theory of the Sun Shield', it has remained in the same place, undiscovered because it is placed as a counterpoise to the Earth. It has the same plane or orbit and maintains that position, with occasional adjustments by the Priest-Kings, to always keep 'The Central Fire' between it and it's planetary sister, Earth.
Book 1: Tarnsman of Gor, pages 26, 28, 32 and 33 These words were sent to a girl, by an email, just saying, "the more W/we understand, the ways, the better"
GOR'S ORIGINATION: John Norman created the world of Gor in the late 1960's and early 1970's in a series of 25 books. These books were written on a level for adults to be able to understand the phylosophy he was trying to convey. Many people became infatuated with the phylosophy and began to develope and insert many of the Gorean ways and beliefs into their daily lives.
DEFINITION OF GOR (noun): "The Home Stone." An object to be revered. The central object around which one arranges the matter of one's life. The core of one's dwelling that which defines a place and those that dwell there.
HOME STONE: On Gor, there is nothing more sacred or worthier of respect than a Home Stone. A Home stone is the center or heart of a place. When one uses the word Gor upon the counter-earth, they are referring to the ancient Home Stone of all the Gorean people, the planet itself, which supports their lifes.
GOR: Gor is what Earth might have been, had civilization not developed and made great technological strides. It is a planet that has not been spoiled by pollution of it's environment, waste of it's resourses or destruction of it's natural beauty. Gor is a place where every man and woman are accountable for who and what they are. Where there are no restrictions placed on a man's abilities and strengths. Where women are allowed to display their sexuality openly. It is a place where honor and your word are more sacred than life itself. To break this honor or your word is to tempt fate. Women may be free on Gor, but to do so requires one to stand strong and prove themselves worthy of the right. A place where such Free Women are respected, but who must always strive to protect their status or find the fate of chains or possibly death. Gor is a place where women may be free from the bonds of their counter parts on earth, in that they openly show their sexuality and desires knowing they are protected by the collar they wear. On Gor there are no laws or rules that allow the weak to control the strong. It is a place where the strong survive and the weak are either enslaved or killed. Gor is a world where you are held accountable for your actions, good or bad. Gor is harsh in many ways and not always are results what you might wish them to be. You can learn and understand the Gorean way and become a useful and respected member or you can follow a path of dishonor and be shunned by all there.
FICTIONAL GOR: Gor is a world not unlike Earth, though slightly smaller in size. It possesses three moons, and has a lighter gravity than Earth, giving greater strength abilities to humans than on Earth. Gor exists in the same orbit as Earth, on the opposite side of the sun, causing it to be unseen from Earth.
PRIEST KINGS: The Priest Kings are a race of super intelligent, insect like beings with a highly evolved society and technology. They reside in the Sardar Mountains in the Far Northern part of Gor. It is their technology, which controls the planet, including its rotation and location in space. They also introduce other species of life to the planet among which are humans.
TECHNOLOGY: The Priest Kings have carefully restricted the development of technology in certain areas while allowing it to develope in others. The areas most carefully watched are weapons, communications and transportation. Medicine and basic physical comfort have been allowed to compete and at times even surpass those same areas of Earth. No weapons are allowed more developed than that of a crossbow or catapult. Yet medicine is so advanced that disease is rare, and serums have been developed which allow rich Goreans to posses a virtually limitless lifespan. That is why warfare is key in controlling population levels, especiallyly among upper castes.
THE FLAME DEATH: The Priest Kings maintain a fairly tight control over the planet They have highly developed surveillence devices and are known to recruit human agents to serve their schemes. It is difficult to violate their rules and remain undetected. Those creatures who displease them are occasionally subjected to "The Flame Death," and are destroyed in a flash of colored fire, reducing them to ashes.
CULTURES: Civilized Gor is a planet of walled cities, each in constant conflict with the others. The Priest Kings discourages large Empires and so warfare tends to be small-scale. Some of the other races and cultures include the Wagon Peoples, the Torvaldslanders, the Red Savages, the Tribesmen of the Tahari, The Red Hunters of the North, small tribes such as the Alars and the Tribesmen of the Southern Forests.
GOREAN CASTES: Society on Gor is caste-oriented. A person is born into a particular "caste" or trade abiding by its accepted laws and rules. Each individual cast has its own codes of conduct, and by violating those codes a caste member relinquishes his or her rights to be considered a law-abiding participant of society. Such a person is typically branded an outlaw, and shunned by those of their family and caste. The principal Gorean virtues are strength of character, loyalty, skill and ability of your caste or trade The Basics of Gor From The Central Fire - www.counter-urth.com Gor is not fair Gor is Harsh Gor is GOR SLAVERY: Perhaps the most commonly misunderstood social institution upon Gor is that of human slavery. A sometimes cruel practice, it takes many varied forms. The psychological effects of this servitude are well understood. To the Gorean slavery is not bad, it is a part of life. Few people are born into slavery, most who are slaves are because they were actively enslaved. Goreans feel that to be enslaved is to be humbled, to be forced to acknowledge the fact that one stronger than you exists and has taken your freedom from you. Women, being less physically endowed to fighting and self-defense, are by nature the ones most often enslaved upon Gor. There are male slaves as well, but most die reletively quickly from being worked long and hard in the mines and other places. Females, however, are generally treated better and require less effort to subdue than males. This is also true because most males regard beautiful, intelligent women as a highly valuable commodity for trade purposes. They are treated as what they have become under Gorean law, the property of the one who owns them. Slavery is a highly-regarded way of life and more than a way of thinking. It is part of the culture and is supported in custom and practice. To be a slave is to be totally enslaved, and simply put you are no longer free and therefore have no rights. Only freepersons are protected under Gorean law and only freepersons have any say in the dealings of government and civil administration.
GOREAN POLITICS: The most often utilized political structure is the free City-State. Each city state considers itself to be seperate from all others and that everyone is an enemy. Vying for land, agriculture and resources is a high priority to each city. During times of peace, most free cities are governed by a democratic ruling council made up of notable citizens from the five High Castes and ruled overall by an elected city administrator. During wartime a Ubar, or military ruler, is often chosen. Sometimes the Administrator and the Ubar are one and the same. The Ubar is customarily expected to relinquish all power once the present crisis has been averted, and allow the administrator to resume his duties. Sometimes this is not done and so in effect the city remains under military rule. Which can lead to the Ubar and his followers to be removed by force and power returned to the civil administrators. Outside the great walled cities, there are as many political systems upon Gor as there are on Earth. These alliances, leagues and groups control various portions of civilized Gor. Some consisting of simple tribal groups, others growing beyond that, growing even to the brink of Empire. Normally the major city-states will take action to stop this growth in power long before it becomes a threat to their own sovereignty. If O/one reads the Books of Gor, Y/you will notice the difference between the actions of what is in the books and what is done online. Some are very different; for example...
1. In the books, the slaves names are all capped, "Vella <QUOTES name_cap.html>", not "vella", and on line, the lower case letter is used to let A/all know who is a slave and who is a Freeperson.
2. The slaves in the books speak, first and third person <QUOTES first_and_third_person.html>, and online, only third person is spoken by the slaves, "this girl loves her Master", like that, it is to denote that a slave is a person, a slave is mere property: BUT, property that a Master takes great care of.
3. Serving blackwine is different also, in the books, ordering black wine second slave <QUOTES secondslave.html>, (is having two slaves serve, one serves the black wine and the other slave brings the milk and sugars, and adds them to the cup). On line, in some taverns, ordering black wine second slave, means, only one slave serves, but the milk and sugars are on the side and added to the cup if the Master wishes them, after kneeling before the Master.
4. White and Red silk <QUOTES White_silk_and_red_silk.html>issues, in the books, a white silk slave refers to a slave who has not yet been taken by a Master, a virgin, and online, a white silk slave is one, who is under restriction, or only to be used by or at her Master's whim......Red silk refers to a slave who has been used; not a virgin.
These are only a few accommodations that are made, to bring the world of online Gor to O/our hearts and souls and to touch the world that John Norman had created so long ago. |

The Gorean Master The Master is a strong man, a dominant man. He is sure of himself, confident in his place in society and in His Homestone. He cherishes females, revels by their presence. He is giving, caring, loving and understanding. When the Master takes on the responsibility of owning a kajira, He discovers her, learns to know her inside and out, and slowly possesses her. He gently pushes her, always ready to show her that she is strong, that her limits are not what she believes them to be, that she can be taken farther. In this, the Master reveals to the kajira her own confidence, her own levels of self esteem, and all the beauty that she holds within. As the Master learns his new kajira, an understanding takes place. He senses her desires, her needs, her passions. With this new knowledge, the Master takes care of the kajira, always giving what the kajira needs, but not necessarily what she presumes she needs, or thinks she wants. It is the Master's responsibility to care for, protect and love his kajira. If she is sick, he will see that she is cared for. If she is exhausted, he will allow her to rest, stroking her hair as she does so. If she is scared, he will comfort her. If she needs affection, he will hold her. These things, he does willingly, because he knows her and loves her. He understands her as no one else does. He has seen into her soul, and held it in his hand. Her mind is his, to read, to know. Her body is his to feel, and enjoy. Her heart is his to caress, and she becomes his true possession. The Master does not take away the kajira's identity, but allows her to grow into her own being, her own likeness. her commitment to her Master is not a vehicle of punishment or hatred, but one of love and development. The kajira is given the room to come into her own, under her Master's care, like a flower that flourishes under the sun's warmth, the kajira radiates from his love and devotion. She becomes a rose; a beautiful being that knows she is loved and cared for. There is the profile of a Master: strong, able, confident, loving, caring, encouraging, and gentle. "What about punishment and discipline?" you may be asking. Punishment is handed out lovingly yet firmly. The Master should not punish out of anger, there is no place for anger with punishment. The Master should discipline only for the sake of teaching. Punishment and discipline need not be physical: it can be psychological It is not done out of harshness or hostility, it is done out of love and forgiveness. |

The New Master A good Master must know all that his slaves should know, for how can you maintain training or discipline if you are ignorant yourself. They must also know how to be fair, trustworthy, strict and be able to know and give what your slave needs in the way of love and discipline. Although you must sometimes be harsh, a good Master is also sensitive to his slave's feelings, needs and desires. If you exercise proper control of your slave, you will find that you rarely need to whip her. Physical punishment is never as strong as emotional control and is the sign of a weak Master. Better to have your slave's love and devotion then to have her fear and hate you. By a simple look of displeasure, by simply not allowing her to be in your presence, you punish her more severely then you could with a hundred lashes from a slave whip. Perhaps it should only be added that the Gorean Master, though often strict, is seldom cruel. The girl knows, if she pleases Him, her lot will be an easy one. She will almost never encounter sadism or wanton cruelty, for the psycological environment that tends to breed these diseases is largely absent from Gor. Hunters of Gor Page 65 W/we met in the centre of the room and embraced. I wept, and He did, too, without shame. I learned later that on this alien world a strong man may feel and express emotions, and that the hypocrisy of constraint is not honoured on this planet as it is on mine. Marauders of Gor pg 289 It is not uncommon for Masters to pride Themselves on the depth with which they know Their slave girls. This depth is far greater in my opinion than that with which the average husband of Earth knows his wife. The slave girl is not simply someone with whom the man lives; she is very special to Him; she is a treasured possession; He owns her. He wants to know profoundly and deeply. The background, history, the mind, the intelligence, the appetites, the nature and dispositions of His lovely article of property. This knowledge, of course, puts her more at His mercy by making it possible for Him to manipulate her feelings, exploit weaknesses, drop asides, etc. She, in the helpless condition of slavery, gives Him greater power over her. For example, it is common for a Master to force His girl to speak at length and in detail to Him of the secret sides of her nature, explaining and elaborating on her antasies.
If she is literate, she may be forced, naked and collared, on her knees at a small table, sometimes with her ankles shackled, to write them out; this supplies the Master, of course, with abundant materials which may be used by Him to make her further and more helplessly His. Sometimes the girl attempts to deceive the Master. It is not difficult to detect inauthenticity in such matters; she is then beaten. she may be at times ordered to invent fantasies, sometimes of a certain type; these, too, for she has invented them, are, to an astute Master, instructive. These intellectual, emotional exercises, performed by the girl under the condition of slavery. If coupled with an enforced exercise regime, posings under male surveillance, and such, can do much to sensitize her to her collar. They awaken her body, and, of equal importance for the Gorean, though not for the Earthling, who sees sex with the perception of a hippopotamus, as a matter of body rubbings, her fantastic imagination and mind. she becomes curious, soon, about the deeper implications of what she is, a mere article of her Masters property. Then, with authority, with assurance and power, to the depth and height of her mind and imagination she is taught, the slave girl experiences a paradox of freedom. The Free Woman is physically free, but miserable, fighting to be what she is not; the slave girl, physically in bondage, even to the collar. Sometimes chains, is given no choice by men but to be totally and precisely what she is, a slave. Such women, slaves, interestingly, are almost always joyful and vital; they are paradoxically, in their feelings and emotions, liberated; they are not pinched, not psychologically restrained; why this should be I do not know. To see such women, their heads held high, their eyes bright, their bodies, movements, beautiful, as no earth woman would dare to be, is quite pleasurable. Some of them are so insolent, so proud of their collars, that I have cuffed them to my feet, to remind them that they are only slaves. (Assassin of Gor pg 12) However, if you must whip, do it quickly and be done with it. A punishment prolonged is a seed that will turn a slave to hatred. Immediate response to naughty behavior is the best way to correct the behavior. The same is even more true of good behavior. When a slave does well, be prepared to praise and commend her for the effort she has put forth. Train her by loving her and you will have a kajira that will bring you much pleasure. Like a parent with a misbehaved child, the punishment of a slave is something that a Master should regret having to do, as it is a sign that the Master has not been successful in the training of that slave. Quotes describing what a Gorean Man is?/FONT> "There is gold, and steel, power, and the bodies of women . . . and sometimes . . . a thing called Honor." -- T.C. "Do you know, Tarnsman," he asked, "that there is no justice without the sword?" He smiled down on me grimly. "This is a terrible truth," he said, "and so consider it carefully." He paused. "Without this," he said, touching the blade, "there is nothing-- no justice, no civilization, no society, no community, no peace. Without the sword there is nothing." "By what right," I challenged, "is it the sword of Marlenus that brings justice to Gor?" "You do not understand," said Marlenus. "Right itself-- that right of which you speak so reverently-- owes its very existence to the sword." "I think that is false," I said. "I hope it is false." I shifted, even with that small movement irritating the whip cuts on my back. Marlenus was patient. "Before the sword," he said, "there is no right, no wrong, only fact-- a world of what is and what is not, rather than a world of what should be and should not be. There is no justice until the sword creates it, establishes it, guarantees it, gives it substance and significance." He lifted the weapon, wielding the heavy metal blade as though it were a straw. "First the sword," he said, "then government-- then law-- then justice." --Tarnsman of Gor p. 155 'Do not harm him,' said Kazrak. 'He is my sword brother, Tarl of Bristol.' Kazrak's remark was in accord with the strange warrior codes of Gor, codes which were as natural to him as the air he breathed, and codes which I, in the Chamber of the Council of Ko-ro-ba, had sworn to uphold. One who has shed your blood, or whose blood you have shed, becomes your sword brother, unless you formally repudiate the blood on your weapons. It is part of the kinship of Gorean warriors regardless of what city it is to which they owe their allegiance. It is a matter of caste, an expression of respect for those who share their station and profession, having nothing to do with cities or Home Stones. --Tarnsman of Gor p. 119 Perhaps it should only be added that the Gorean master, though often strict, is seldom cruel. The girl knows, if she pleases him, her lot will be an easy one. She will almost never encounter sadism or wanton cruelty, for the psychological environment that tends to breed these diseases is largely absent from Gor. --Outlaw of Gor p. 53

Duties of a Slave ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ The duties of a slave are as many and varied as the imagination and needs of the Owner, but they can be simply summed up in one statement, "exquisite beauty and absolute obedience." All considerations fall within this title as the slave, kajira in particular, is to at all times be pleasing, both in what she does and the manner in which it is done.
Exquisite beauty refers not only to the girls personal appearance, but rather to her whole state of being. The girl is to be beautiful in every action, movement and form that she undertakes, no matter what the command or purpose.
Things as simple as a girl washing laundry, fetching a bucket of water, of just picking up an object off the floor all are done with a feminine grace and sexuality that are lost to most women, but the kajira is painstakingly trained to unconsciously and continually achieve.
Also, as the girl grows in her collar, it no longer becomes necessary to instruct her on the movements of her own body in a pleasing manner, such becomes natural to her, as if something deep within her and once hidden, has finally awoke.
Absolute obedience in itself should be self explanatory. A slave does as she is told, and if not, is swiftly and appropriately disciplined until her attitude is corrected, and further, similar commands, are performed as expected.
A Gorean slave reacts to a command in a way that will cause its completion to occur in the form that her Master expects it to be done, and done quickly.
In the newer girl, this obedience may come as a reaction to fear, her being afraid of the discipline that will surely occur should she fail or not be found pleasing. But in the girl who is more accustomed to her collar, a need to be found pleasing and desirable to her Master and Men in general surpasses even fear, producing an obedience born of devotion and love, rather then simply the wish to avoid any punishment.
The sum of these things produces a girl that is at all times pleasing to her owner in every way. As property, a possession, this is simply expected and reasonably so, for as a slave, the girl no longer exists for herself, but exists for her Owner and is dependent upon Him for her very life and sustenance, and often her happiness and emotional well being.
The slave who performs well will often be treated well, as a girl that is found pleasing to her Master will be encouraged to continue doing so.
A truly beautiful and obedient slave is a prized possession, one which will have both great monetary and personal value to the Owner, along with being an investment that took care and time to make into what is now seen to hold such great worth.
Such property is not left to wander unguarded or unattended and is often even hidden away by the Owner, and so long as "exquisite beauty and absolute obedience" is maintained, the life of the slave in itself might well be seen as not that bad. And to the girl, such a life may in reality be something she wishes never to change, and something she secretly has always desired, even if unconsciously.
"It is the duty of a slave girl to be fully and completely pleasing to Men. Were she not so she would be subject to severe punishment, including even torture and death, should it be the Master's wish." - SLAVE GIRL OF GOR, Pg. 226

The "Rights" of the Enslaved
When one is made a slave on Gor, they lose all the rights and connections they had in their past life. They are no longer seen as the person they were before, but rather are viewed much as an animal, and are treated as such. They do not decide their own fate, and are not expected to make their own decisions regarding their lives, as this is no longer theirs to choose.
They do not so much as even possess the names they are called by, these being given and taken away as it pleases their Owners. Their lives are subject to their Owner's whim in a very real and tangible way.
They do not "bargain" with Men, nor do they place "limits" on their service, they simply do as they are told and do it when they are told, or they are swiftly, harshly, and effectively punished.
A Master may discipline, beat, brutalize or even destroy His property if he chooses, and the Laws of the various Gorean lands will not only not contest this, but will fully support it.
Master's in general, see slaves much in the same way the Law does. Gorean Men do not seek to defend slave girls or protect them, other then what would be obvious concerning the preservation of their personal property, or that of Another. Such would be done for the sake of the Owner though, not so much the slave.
The slave in itself is seen as property, an item whose sole purpose is to bring pleasure to the Owner and/or comfort to His life. Nothing is directly given in return for this as a matter of obligation, everything is simply expected. Basic food and shelter are not a matter of payment, but simple necessity to keep One's property capable to serve.
Gorean slave girls become quickly accustomed to their new "station" in life. Those born on Gor have a very clear understanding of what slavery is and what it means, prior to any collar being put around their necks. They are raised around it and understand its principles clearly, often also understanding much of what would be expected of them if enslaved, and how they would be treated.
Those born to a collar, actually a minority of slaves in general, simply know no other way of life. And those taken from Earth quickly adapt to what their new lives are, under the harsh discipline and direction of their Gorean Masters, or they die.
But no matter what a girl's past may be prior to her collaring, all such things become irrelevant once she is enslaved, and as a slave, she is made to understand this clearly. It is not difficult for a woman to be a slave. Once the initial steps are taken, the reality that now surrounds her, fast awakens the reality that was always within, and the need for instruction is surmounted by nature and instinct itself.
In reality, and in many ways, the last "right" an individual has, is when they choose life and slavery, over death.
"The Men call us 'slave meat,' and such, and perhaps this amuses Them, and helps to keep us in our place, at Their feet, but only a woman who is a fool believes Them. They want, and own, the whole slave. Even Gorean law makes it clear that it is the entire slave who is owned, not merely a part of her." - DANCER OF GOR, Pg. 154
"'My original name was Susan,' she said. 'My last name does not matter. When I became a slave, of course, my name was gone. Animals do not have names, except as their Masters might choose to name them. The name 'Susan' was again put upon me, but now, of course, I have it only as a slave name.'" - KAJIRA OF GOR, Pg. 57
"What are my duties?' I asked. 'Exquisite beauty and absolute obedience.'" - SLAVE GIRL OF GOR, Pg. 261 |

I can not stress enough to new Goreans the importance of asking questions as they are attempting to learn the Gorean customs. Never be afraid to come forward and tell someone.. if "A/anyone" is forcing anything upon you that you do not consent to. I believe strongly that new slaves should be in white silks.. and learn the customs and rules before doing anything private with a Master. I have seen many new slaves take collars, talk in private with Masters, do things they have regretted later and have said "they did not know"... take your time and learn first. If a slave is new..the slave should consider a Home collar before taking a personal collar... in this collar a slave is protected and can be trained by the Training Master/Mistress and first girl of the Home. It appears that is some Places, some slaves need to be protected from the 'Protector' when the Protector is not truely honorable and wise. Think carefully, get to know the owner of the Home before taking a collar. Collars are not toys, necklaces, or something to use to justify fooling around. Collars are committments that bind hearts and souls of two people together. The decision to accept/give a collar should never be taken lightly.
Basic Tips for new slaves 1. Master is Master. a collared slave is "property" of the slaves Master. obey and trust your Master above all O/others. 2. Slaves should strive to be: honorable, loyal, honest, kind, and loving. slaves need to learn about: serves, drinks, food, silks, collars, branding, piercings, dance, massage, castes, and chain-sisters. 3. Try to eliminate personal pronouns, say: this one.. this slave.. this girl.. this kajira (female).. this kajirus (male).. not the words " I".. " me ".. or " my " (some rooms will kick the slave for this) 4. A slaves nick begins with a lower case letter.. Master and Mistress nicks begin with a capital letter. 5. Slaves do not use caps.. unless used in the words Master/Mistress, their nick, or ( His/Her.. He/She) always be respectful of Masters and Mistresses 6. It is wise to ask for permission to "enter" if unsure of Home policy. (slaves say " greetings " ... Masters and Mistresses say " Tal " ) 7. "Always" ask permission to "leave" a room if you are a slave. 8. Gorean slaves are beautiful.. slaves lower eyes to show respect (not the slaves whole head).. unless for a drink serve or punishment. 9. Kneel... slaves never sit (unless it is upon the lap of a Master/Mistress) 10. True Gorean slaves "do not" curtsy. 11. "Never" private message a Master or Mistress without asking in the open room first. (mosts slaves can msg. other slaves without asking first) 12. "Never" correct another slave in the open room.. private message the slave. 13. A white silks slave does not put a drink to her slave heat for anyone but her Master. 14. Do not try to serve until you know how, unless a Master requests and then it is wise to tell that Master you are not yet trained. He will decide if He wishes the slave serve or not. 15. Don't be a social butterfly. If you are serving a Master.. be attentive to Him. and give Him your "full" attention until He has dismissed you. 16. Slaves are expected to know the positions of: "nadu ".. " bara ".. " lesha ".. " sula ", etc. and at the *command* of a Master/Mistress to properly and quickly assume the positions (white silks slaves never "sula " for anyone except their own Master or Protector) 17. Slaves do not own possessions. Everything a collared slave has, the slaves Master/Mistress owns. (i.e.: silks, slave bells, earrings, collar, name, heart, body, mind , and soul ) 18. Slaves "never" touch money. a slave may, with the permisson of their Master/Mistress, carry money in their mouth only, or her owner may place it in a bag to be hung around the slaves neck. 19. slaves "never' possess or touch weapons. punishment is death. 20. If unsure of something, message a more experienced slave for advice or the MoSP. 21. if you are told to do something that you do not consent to.. and are terrifed.. and get no help from the Free in the room. Save the scrolls of the conversation and then close the private message window or turn off your computer.
